If you own a Harley and want to change the oil yourself, invest in this specialty wrench. There really is no getting around this - and it makes removing the oil filter a 2 minute job!

Does the job. I still don't understand what"notch". The ring wrench worked fine. I was happy with its thickness. I had a similar key for the car and I twisted it out of the mold on a narrow filter. Handy tool.

Harley makes it extremely difficult to remove the oil filter from a twin can engine. You could put a 3/4" nut on the end of the filter but they don't, so I needed this special cut-out filter wrench to remove the filter from my bike. It works well, good quality, good powder coating.

Bought to replace the broken one. It's almost identical to the original I bought from the HD dealer. I use it on a Fatboy 03 HD to get the filter out of the plugs that got stuck there. Still PIA, but with this tool (and the ratchet with extension) it's at least possible.

Glad I got it. The previous owner of my bike had the strength of a gorilla when he installed an oil filter. I was afraid this key would slip off as I had to attach a breaker to free it. It held the filter perfectly and I was able to take it off. I've switched to K&N nut-on oil filters, but I'll definitely keep that key to myself.

Fits perfectly on the filter and also slides around the filter with ease. Harley made the tolerances tight to get at the 2017 Dyna Street Bob's oil filter, but it worked just fine. I've used it in combination with a custom made orange plastic drip pan to try and cushion the oil leak from the filter and while it's not perfect it turned out to be a lot better than without it.
