I started paying more attention to why my work just wasn't at the level I wanted and started really focusing on calibrating all my tools . During this process I found that there was a wide range of accuracy for measuring tools and although all my measuring tapes were fine for rough construction I had to throw away 3 of them because they were too far away for detailed work. You can count on it being accurate when precision matters.

An obvious problem with the tape measure is that the "edge" of the tape measure is not stationary but wobbles about 4 millimeters resulting in a measurement accuracy of 0 up to 4 millimeters in depending on the degree of swing. The design flaw is so obvious that it should not be sold as a product to consumers as the entire purpose of a tape measure is to measure accurately. Due to a design flaw, it is virtually unusable and should be withdrawn from the market immediately.

I like the band and I thought I would like the magnet on the top but I'm not sure. I find all the things I lost attached to a magnet, drill, screw etc. I think I'll remove the magnets, they don't seem very valuable to me at least.
