Works great as a spark plug wrench

Works great as a spark plug wrench. I had a hard time fitting the rubber/plastic insert to the spark plug tip and ended up just pulling it out. So the tool isn't long enough to fit in the fork unless you put it on that tip. Maybe if you had a direct shot at the connector it would work well, but mine is at a slight angle.

Pros
  • Entry angle guide fixation
Cons
  • Operating speed

Head of good quality and thoughtful design

Good quality socket with good design. I have a problem with a spark plug on a distributor engine and needed a swivel head with a hex that goes all the way. This gearwrench has a full length socket head. I need to shorten the bushing by about 3/4 inch and then it would be of little use if the hex wasn't full length. Most other spark plug boots are not.

Pros
  • Rotating spark plug
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

A great idea. low quality.

Arrived in a box that would be fit for a small nation. The black rubber that holds the spark plug during removal/installation fell out of its socket and did not stay in the socket. I made a simple candle. Well, at least interesting. Overall I would not recommend this product unless you can find a way to seal the rubber locking sleeve in the socket. I, too, could only have caught a defective socket, but made the 15-minute job even more difficult. Back to using candle tongs for me.

Pros
  • Large hard seal identification numbers
Cons
  • Can't remember
