pi4 4gb 3 out of 4 pads have excellent contact no memory

Very quiet and cools my pi4 4gb considerably. On boot it works for me. The included thermal transfer stickers worked fine on the CPU, Ethernet, and USB controllers, but the 4th sticker didn't match my memory size. This was roughly the memory size pictured in the product description, but my pi4's memory was slightly narrower and longer. I trim off the excess width and lay it along the length for full coverage. However, when I installed the radiator, it wasn't even making contact with the gasket.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Single board computers are worth it

Works well and easy to install. My Raspberry Pi 4 4GB is in a closed TV case so it tends to get hot in there. However, this heatsink fan from Armor lowered the Pi temperature from 70-80°C to 50-60°C while remaining in the cabinet. Works correctly with the Raspberry Pi OS's built-in fan control settings, allowing the fan to turn on automatically when the Pi reaches a predetermined temperature. The only downside is that the heatsink is too long and you can't close the top cover. I could adjust…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • For older

Best Heatsink and Fan for Raspberry Pi

Best Heatsink and Fan for Raspberry Pi If you're using a Canakite case, you'll need to make a few cuts in the case, but that's easy to do with a box cutter.

  • Worth the Money

Easy to install and very quiet

My Raspberry Pi Kit came with three heatsinks and a fan, but this fan was always running out of the box and was surprisingly noisy. This heatsink and fan combo was a great replacement for this setup. These thermal pads are less sticky than they could be, but some care has been taken to leave them in place. It required some minor modifications to the Canakit case to allow the Pi+ to fit back into the case. I had to cut off one or two of the retaining tabs and cut out the plastic clips that held…

Necessary item for computer components

My Raspberry Pi 4B has reached 75 degrees. C. After the fan was installed, it now stays at 35 degrees. C, 45 degrees C max. This will extend the life of your Pi and make it run faster.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Great heatsink and controlled fan priced at

I'm using my PI as a 24/7 PLEX Media Streaming Server to get started. The original fan that came with my Raspberry Pi 4 only had a red (+) and black (-) wire that was always on and it was very noisy. When I read that PI now includes a configuration feature that allows you to enable a fan that turns on when the CPU reaches a certain temperature, I looked for a fan with a blue wire (GPIO input). , you get improved thermal synchronization that keeps the entire PI cool, as well as a programmable…
