DO NOT BUY! on Hoses

This product is not suitable for everyday use. I expressly do not recommend this product. I bought 16 of these pneumatic hoses to use in a professional mechanic's workshop. I bought these hoses to extend my air hose because the hoses in the reels were too short. Now, in less than 3 months, I've thrown over half of it in the trash. Next to the brass fitting they tear further. Now I'm spending more money to trim them down and replace the brass fitting. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! That's a waste of…

The Air Tube of the Good Year: Always the best idea

I've bought other air tubes over the years. Good Year air hoses are durable and extremely durable. If you take good care of your tools and equipment, this hose will serve you well for many years to come. Remember not to run rubber, hybrid or other air hoses through oil products as this will shorten their lifespan. If you do, wipe them off immediately. When attaching threaded fittings to hoses, be careful not to cross the threads. As always, this product has been tested and used before posting…

Actually made in the USA

This is the winner. Replaced a cheap PE hose that didn't unroll after 5 years of use. This item is flexible and easy to deploy, store and transport when needed. Straight out of the box it stretched and stayed straight. Sturdy, durable and does not leak (tested for 48 hours). Looks perfect for occasional use - around 6-8 times a month for me. Manufactured in the USA and branded Goodyear. I don't know why some people got fake, I think it depends on which seller you buy from. I've been fortunate…

Good hose; Good Flow

The 25ft hose probably wasn't enough for me but I plan to buy a 50ft hose later. The hose is good. Works with 1/4" NPT fittings. You will need female screw ends, which are a little less common. I used the last pair on the hose. After testing. I want to use 1/2" hose for basic air tools. , but I'm much more limited to the 1/4" NPT connection than I thought for the 6CFM unit. In any case, I would never recommend a 1/4" hose, even for small jobs. The 3/8" just goes a lot more CFM. The rubber is…

1/4 " NPT fitting not quite right

I have not found the ends of 1/4" NPT male hose fittings to be compatible. It's definitely not a 3/8 inch thread. It's a 1/4" thread, but I believe the factory has an incorrectly calibrated pipe threader that threads their end connections. Fittings should be a much better match for 1/4" NPT threads. Threads tighten very quickly. That's why people get confused in reviews about pipe thread size. I recommend another brand but at least this seller accepted the return. Maybe I could do a 1/4"…

NOT Goodyear brand - power tool parts and accessories

Advertised as Goodyear air hose. However, there is no trademark anywhere on the hose. It's a really nice piece of stuff that I hope is somewhat true to the real Goodyear brand, but it doesn't have their name on it. I would give 5 stars if the item really matched the description. It wasn't enough to piss me off to the point of no return, but I strongly encourage the seller to reconsider their product description, as I've seen countless other Goodyear hoses refer to their product by their name…
