screws went well with a woodworking project I was just finishing. The only thing to note is that the screws do not have a cross/star head, but a square/hexagon head.

These are the only screws I currently use. I used to have so many problems stripping screws, breaking heads etc. I tried so many brands and then found this one. These screws will hold the wood and the drill/screwdriver will not rip off the heads. I use them indoors and out (built a barn 2 years ago and there is no sign of rust or weakness). These screws are excellent.

These and all the other GRK screws were without a doubt the best wood screws I have ever used. My first experience with GRK was with their amazing outdoor shear bolts. The Torx head gives you the ability to angle the screwdriver in hard-to-reach places and still turn the screw straight. So far, no mushroom-shaped protrusions in any materials, and the screws sink without breaking the wood surface.
