Don't forget to get the O-ring!

Don't be like me if I'm trying to save $6 on a new o-ring by ignoring previously posted comments and not buying it because I think I could use an existing one. When I installed the existing o-ring on the new atomizer, it actually leaked! So I had to put the old atomizer back in, order the part and put the new atomizer back in. Now it works great.

"No-No " finish - high gloss chrome, no o-ring for hose connector

This faucet sprayer is very expensive and has several design flaws that cause it to fail relatively quickly. The soft rubber parts inside, including the top button diaphragm and the shift valve foam seal, failed on me. I ended up taking the guts out of this new chrome atomizer and replacing them with the faulty innards from my polished nickel atomizer. Please note that this sprayer does not come with the required o-ring for hose use.

Doesn't match brushed nickel

I bought this because another reviewer said it would match a brushed nickel faucet, but that's not true. Maybe if you're low on light, but the light above my sink clearly shows the silver head on the brushed nickel body. The rubber piece was also slightly worn and there was no paper in it that mentioned replacing the o-ring on the hose. Maybe I received the one I bought and returned? All in all it looks like a good replacement for the LadyLux faucet, but I have to order a different color (at a…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Negative impression

Fits my mixer perfectly. There is a small piece of paper in the box that recommends replacing the o-ring on the male end of the faucet hose and it says 'included'. But that's not the case. If you look up that part number on the Grohe website, the o-ring is sold separately and you will almost certainly need it. If you don't replace the o-ring, water will run back through the hose into the faucet and seep under the sink. This is the only problem I have with this product. If you say it's on, then…

Good substitute for a syringe. Ease of installation.

The original sprayer lasted 14 years before the rubber to switch between fast and full flow wore out). The color is better than the original Grohe pen I had (matches the brushed nickel faucet well). Installation was easy (unscrew the retaining flange and remove the atomizer from the hose). Clean, replace O-ring and you're done. Be sure to get the recommended O-ring. It is necessary. Then put the spray gun back on the hose (be careful not to pull the hose into the water tap, otherwise it has to…

Easy Install: Kitchen & Bathroom Install

This item doesn't immediately show up on Revain when I'm looking for a replacement aerator/diffuser for my Grohe faucet. I went to the Grohe website to look for a specific part number and was then able to find the item on the Revain website. This aerator/diffuser would be easy to install if there wasn't a problem. For some reason an o-ring is sticking to the aerator/nebulizer threads. I felt it necessary so I left it where it was. I later found that this served no useful purpose. I installed a…

Also shop O-Ring - Kitchen & Bathroom Lights

This is an updated review as the faucet head no longer comes with loose parts. My Grohe faucet is original, with a spring around the hose instead of a weight. I had to replace both the faucet head and hose. The plastic filter was installed in the faucet head when I took it out of the box and there were no loose parts. Thanks to the reviews here I also bought a new O-ring. I tested the new faucet head first without changing the o-ring and found it dripped a little. I unscrewed the head, put in a

do you like drops Take it!

I have replaced 3 of these. After a few years, the sun turns the button's rubber cover into a goo. First, the design is such that the entire grip needs to be replaced, not just the rubber cover, which is considered obsolete. You also cannot replace or clean the aerator end cap. Let me just say this is a bad product. I would just accept the disappointment caused by the sale of the product and continue to enjoy it if this thing does the actual job it is supposed to do, right. Another slavish…

Expensive piece of plastic.

I ordered this faucet to replace a broken one on an old Ladylux faucet I had in my kitchen when I bought the house. I wasn't sure whether to go with this one or the seemingly identical 46298KH0. I emailed Grohe to check and they replied that I should order the last one but I was too late already ordering from Amazon. Their support email stated that an o-ring is included, which many believe is required to replace the old o-ring to prevent leakage. Well, the box I got from Amazon didn't have an…
