Saved expensive table - very happy

Surprised. It really works. It won't happen right away, you have to be patient. I had bright white, huge water stains from a can of soda left on a mahogany table. Nothing worked. Definitely had to put some grease on it, but after about 20 minutes the stain was clearly gone. If you didn't know he was there, you wouldn't even notice him. Not completely gone, but the table saves. I'll do some more work on it and see if I can get the rest tomorrow, but for tonight I'm very pleased as I thought this

Removed the paint from my wooden table.

Wanted to use this for a watermark on my wooden table. Thought it would be an easy and quick process if I wanted to take the paint off the table! I noticed that the watermark got lighter as I rubbed it, and then I noticed it got worse, not better. I looked at the rag and it was the color of my wood and my desk is sealed so I don't know why it would have that effect. In any case, it goes in the garbage! Don't waste your time and money! And it smells bad, I've washed my hands and rubbed my hands…

Tired of online guides on how to coat your furniture with mayonnaise?

Mysterious white spots all over the front of an old dresser. You might think the water is flowing down and the stains are streaks, but no, just stains all over the place. I was tired of reading online tips on how to put mayonnaise on all my furniture, so I decided to look to Revain for the best product to remove water stains from furniture. These wipes worked immediately, removing the ugly white stains, but now (on very close inspection) I can see nicks where the stains were, as if whatever it…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Has served its purpose. There were two rings, one very visible, very white inside and out. Another older stain, just with a ring. I read some reviews that said it doesn't work. Not sure why they say that, but here are my suggestions. First, let's assume you're going to rub for about 10 minutes. You may want to take a break from time to time and let the stain sit, soak in it. Come back and rub some more. Change the side of the fabric. Give it some more time and get on with the rubbing. Every…

Magic! Saved a tree for our piano

A few weeks ago one of our kids built a nice water ring on our piano and left a glass of water on it with no stand (although they shouldn't have had any stands). drinks near the piano EVER). My husband loves this piano and after initial disappointment/anger he just got sad about the watermark (he really loves this piano). I said maybe we could find something to remove it but he said the damage is beyond repair and my daughter feels terrible about it. Shortly after, this product appeared on one…

Is working! Even if there is nothing else!

This has removed the world's most stubborn watermark! There were three very obvious rings on my desk where hot cups were left unattended and although I've tried everything recommended on the internet nothing helped to diminish their appearance. I bought the Guardsman watermark remover based on other reviews saying it did its job perfectly and adding my positive review in case it helps anyone else. There must be some miracle oil in that rag because it took off the rings when nothing else could…

Even a bit useful 🙄

Media could not be loaded. That gives -5 stars! I've had my desk for at least 15 years and I want to keep it. A few years ago I got watermarks that have been on the table for almost a year. My dad came to visit and used something to completely remove the watermark. I mean like she never existed. I figured these watermarks had been on the table for less time so they could probably be removed. I know they can because my dad did it, NOT WITH THIS PRODUCT. I wish I could ask my dad but I lost him…

  • Also covers surface scratches and removes latex paint, stains from most permanent markers and other small defects in wood. Restores beauty without damaging the finish.

It worked so well for me!

Edit: I still recommend this product. A limitation. Four years ago I cleaned my antique desk, put the Guardsman fabric in a resealable bag and tucked it in my desk drawer. Today I have some new water damage tables to edit. (Heavy damage.) I took out the old cloth and it went rancid. I guess four years is a fair amount of time to expect things to go wrong, so I'm not being naughty. I have time to order a new pack and clean these tables. I'm only commenting if anyone has tight deadlines and old…
