Hanz de Fuko Quicksand: High-Quality Men’s Hair Styling Wax and Dry Shampoo Combo for an Ultra-Matte Finish (2oz) Review

Tried any type of hair wax for the first time and settled on this brand. Have this and Sponge Wax for the style they impart, medium hold and matte finish. Sponge wax has a slightly faint odor. The hold is very light but I can see the matte effect just as good as with Sponge Wax. The packaging is a matte plastic container in a box, very simple and functional, I like the container. I've used it twice and the hold lasts maybe a day and a half to two days which you can still shape it a bit.

As they say. a little goes a long way especially if you have fine hair like mine, i use this product every day, at first i thought it was too expensive for the amount but i get use of it for several months. If you're trying to use it like a gel, you might want to try one of the other products they have for such things.

I love this hair product! I have tried many other products, nothing compares to this hold while still achieving a matte finish that is subtle yet amazing. Used it for a while, liked it. This is probably user error hence the 3 stars but damn. I used this product daily for most of the glass, but after about a month I noticed that the grainy post-shower feel was gone. For a while I dismissed it as a bad conditioner, but it just kept getting worse. Eventually I noticed a lot of split ends and thinning hair. Pooh. I have since cut my hair and reverted to my old lipstick and thank goodness everything is back to normal.

This is by far the best product I have ever used as it offers long lasting support and all day mobility. Does not cause greasiness, does not wet hair. Just a dry hold and it doesn't weigh hair down. It can also be easily removed when washing the hair without product build-up. Heck I've been looking for this product my whole life and finally found it. Really great quality, keeps my hair in place without being greasy, completely dry feeling. The smell is natural, albeit quite strong, smelling of clay, earthy and damp.
