The picture of the pack showed larger parrot seeds and nuts but when I received the packs they looked like very small seeds, almost nothing like what the photo shows. I'll just mix it up with another pack I need to give my eclectic variety.

Disappointed. This has never happened before but I've noticed dark black spots on the peanut shell after pouring the food into the container and mixing it with the pellets so I can't return it for a refund. I have a feeling that now all food can be contaminated. Pooh.

I still eat my birdseed but it seems to have fewer nuts than almonds with every purchase. They added more peanuts to the last bag because the shells are black and look old. My bird doesn't like peanuts and they throw them away immediately but they looked moldy and I didn't even put them on their plate.

My military ara Pepe loves it! for the first time received for him yesterday, knew nothing about this brand. It has all sorts of useful "additives". We will definitely buy this again. We also give him walnuts, pecans, peanuts, etc. in shell. (as well as part of our lunch) He is healthy and some of them are over 40 years old.

The image on the store page is misleading. The product consists mainly of safflower seeds and similar seeds with a few pieces of papaya and maybe 2-3 red peppers per pack. I didn't see whole banana chips, but there might have been smaller fragments. I think there were larger pieces in the Maya mix if you're looking for something similar with more variety.

I give this to my bird as a supplement to his pelleted diet as a snack or treat. I mix some with her pellets (75% pellets, 25% seeds) and also place small pieces in small cups next to her play area for her to "break down". She is very fond of foraging for it in her food bowl among the grains (which she also enjoys a lot. It's more like "Life is uncertain, so eat dessert first"). I think it's quite high quality - good mix, very little waste. This is a brand I trust.
