Perfect for jewelry making!

I make handmade custom jewelry for friends and family. When I used regular copy paper, the ink would smudge under the glue, and leave strange darkened spots and bubbles. Determined, I started looking up something else I could use. A random forum post led me here. I ordered with some trepidation. I have a Canon Pixma MP495, and the cheaper Canon printers sometimes don't like to print heavier cardstock style papers. Nevertheless, I set it up and printed my first sheet. After cutting, curing, and…

Pros
  • This paper allows photos to be clearly printed. I use it for Christmas newsletters.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find in stores

Great for printing out 'Adult coloring patterns'

You may laugh if you like, but I bought this paper for use with Adult Coloring Book patterns, many of which are available in pdf format. I love this paper! I've used gel pens, watercolor markers, and Copic markers (alcohol-based). They all work great. There's minimal bleed-through with the Copics, and minimal crinkling with the watercolors. Gel pens have good coverage because the paper has just enough drag to spread the ink well.A note of warning, the paper insert says to use it in inkjet…

Pros
  • I order this paper all the time for my Epson Artisan 1430 printer. The quality is great.
Cons
  • Not ideal for printing photographs

Great Paper for Quality Prints - Add Smaller Sizes Epson!

This paper is fantastic. I use it for art prints and the colors are very vibrant and crisp. I use it on a Canon iX Pixma 6820 and it still works great, which I was happy about because the Canon papers were pretty limited when it comes to matte or using something other than actual photo paper which wasn't thick enough for my purposes or the ones that were are pretty pricey. It is (as others mentioned) kind of hard to tell which side you should print on, I took it by the window and compared each…

Pros
  • Office & School Supplies
Cons
  • Not suitable for double-sided printing

It’s okay, will work for thank you cards!

The larger print is printed on Epson Velvet Fine Art paper and the smaller is printed from this Ultra Premium Matte. Both of which are printed through my Epson Ecotank 2850. This paper prints okay, you can see that it does print slightly duller/cooler. My main issue with the paper is that I get more banding then I would like, this is a brand new printer out of the box so I don’t think it’s an issue with my print heads which is why I didn’t bother scaling it up like the other print. Ultimately I

Pros
  • Japan
Cons
  • Not water resistant

I don't like it on my review.

I've realized I don't like Matte paper. When you go to the store they ask you glossy or Matte and I feel like Matte is the wrong term they are using. Its really Lustre, You get the best of both worlds with Lustre. You get the color saturation of glossy, the fingerprint resistance of matte, and you don't get the glare like you do with glossy. But this is just plain ol' matte, and I hate it. I'ts plain and just not appealing to me. I compared it to the Canon Matte and the canon is obviously…

  • Epson
Cons
  • Can smudge easily if not handled properly

Very good photo paper

I was looking for paper to print color photos on and this paper is very good for that. It is quite heavy and bright and does the job fine, although it is not quite as bright (white) as the HP paper I was using. Also, the price was very good, as I did not want to spend a fortune on photo paper. Some of the photo paper available out there is very expensive. I find that this matte paper is better for photos because the glossy paper shows finger prints badly and sticks to the plastic sleeves in…

Pros
  • High color gamut yields remarkable color reproduction
Cons
  • Requires careful handling to prevent fingerprints

Excellent Value! best in my review

I use this paper mostly for "Altered Art" projects, and printing motifs or "pastoral scenes" from websites offering free use of stock images or designs. I'm an occasional "paper-crafter", making pop-up birthday cards for the nephews and nieces or some holiday house decor. This photo paper works well in my color printer and I've never had any problem with bleeding or fading. This also works really well for Black & White prints. The "Matte" texture brings out the…

Pros
  • The paper has a smooth, matte finish that provides a high-quality feel to the printouts.
Cons
  • User manual lacks comprehensive information

Prints turn out beautifully

I make jewelry and use a lot of images. At first I used regular 65 lb cardstock. The images were alright, but not as clear as I would have liked them to be. I tried this Epson paper and was amazed at the clarity and detail even to the small 1 inch images I print. I held both papers side by side and the Epson paper was the better of the two. The colors are eye popping compared to the cardstock. I will definitely be buying this again.

Pros
  • S041341
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all paper handling systems

Best paper for prints

I use this paper for 8 x 10 prints in my Etsy shop and the quality is superb! The paper is definitely matter, there is not lustre or gloss to this paper, and while occasionally hard to make out, there is a definite "UP" side to the page. It makes all of my prints pop with the colors I expect them to be, and has worked on several different brands of printer so far. The paper itself is not quite as thick as cardstock, but definitely much sturdier than regular paper. If you are looking for…

Pros
  • It is acid-free, lignin-free, and pH neutral, making it archival grade and long-lasting.
Cons
  • Not ideal for printing text-heavy documents

Expensive, but worth it

This paper made all the difference in the world for my inkjet printer. I used other generic papers (glossy and plain) and the prints looked terrible. The glossy ones took forever to dry and tended to smudge. As soon as I switched to this, the prints looked lab quality and dried instantly. I had no idea that paper could make that much difference. Epson's GLOSSY paper is equally fantastic. RECOMMENDED

Pros
  • Instant drying capability with Epson Professional Inks allows for easy handling
Cons
  • Limited availability in certain regions

Way too expensive to only be able to print on one side.

I'm giving this paper a 3-star rating because it's just too expensive to only print nicely on one side. Figuring out just which is the printable side is harder than you might imagine. For my needs a bright white cardstock is a much better and more affordable product. If you only need to print on one side, this paper prints beautifully--IF you can determine which is the printable side.

Pros
  • The paper has a luxurious feel and adds a touch of elegance to presentations and printed materials.
Cons
  • May produce banding in prints

Beautiful, just what I was looking for!

Absolutely beautiful print quality, makes my art pop vibrantly compared to the porous cardstock I was using before. Can't recommend enough! This is what I had been searching for this whole time!

Pros
  • The paper is compatible with all Epson Stylus inkjet printers.
Cons
  • May require more ink than other types of paper

Excellent Paper for my opinion

Great paper. Prints clear and crisp.high def look. Definitely recommend for higher end printing needs. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • The paper is smudge and scratch-resistant, ensuring the longevity of the printouts.
Cons
  • Matte finish may make text difficult to read

Good Paper, but often times comes bent

I absolutely love the quality of this paper (I've probably bought 20+ boxes in my lifetime) but about every third time, I get a box that has a significant portion of slightly bent pages that don't run through the printer well. I still love the quality, but recommend checking pages before putting the stack in the printer.

Pros
  • It is ideal for printing presentations, flyers, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Cons
  • Not as versatile as other types of presentation paper

Clear printing with superb color!

Would recommend this Epson product for inkjet printers. Sturdy paper, almost like a light weight card stock! That's my review!

Pros
  • The paper is FSC certified, which means it is produced from sustainably managed forests.
Cons
  • May produce vague or hazy prints

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thick almost card stock weight

Good, but pricy for the market of paper out there. Otherwise, good quality and printing quality was great. Photo Paper.

Pros
  • Photo Paper
Cons
  • Produces less vibrant colors than glossy paper

The ROUGH Side is the Front (Printable) Side

I couldn't determine which side was the printable, whiter side in my low-lit apartment, so I read the answers in this product's Q&A page which say with conviction that you print on the "smooth" side. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM! It's the "rougher" side you need to print on. Got so frustrated printing endless test prints that came out mottled and horrible. I thought I'd broken my machine. Turns out the prints are gorgeous if you do it the right way! Top image is the back side of the paper. Bottom…

Pros
  • The micro-porous surface allows for rapid ink absorption and quick drying time.
Cons
  • May produce faded prints over time

Used daily for 3 years, last 34 packs have had issues

I've been using Epson Premium Matte paper for our business for 3 years and have just switched off using this paper because starting last summer (July 2015), our prints would have little white flecks of missing ink on the surface- of course causing us to have to reprint the art. This had never been an issue with this paper before, but since July started happening with all the sizes we use- 8 X 10, 8.5 X 11, 11 X 14. We thought it might be the printer in need of printing- but we use 3 different…

Pros
  • Manufactured in Japan
Cons
  • Difficult to tell which side to print on

Too long to dry before handling

Takes a little long to dry before hanging. So l just leave them sit for a day before trimming and putting in a glass frame. Before I started waiting a day they smudged very easy. Messy.

Pros
  • This paper produces stellar color results on digital prints I purchase for journaling.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other presentation paper options

PAPER ARRIVES BENT!

For me, I make my living selling prints. I order these, because they're sold out on epsons website. I have ordered them multiple times. Every time I open them up, they all have a bend in one corner. For those of us who sell high quality prints, a simple bend could make or break the quality. Other than the papers always being bent, they work quite well. These come in a box, inside of a box. You would think they would put some effort into shipping them safely. Overall, I am bummed out and worry…

Pros
  • Epson Ultra Premium Matte paper is easy to handle and feed through printers.
Cons
  • May produce inconsistent results with different paper handling systems
