Not As Shown

The image on this listing clearly shows a very pointed spout to reduce spillage. The product I received doesn't look like it at all and has a short round spout. This will result in oil spilling every time you transfer.

Cheap/brittle junk

Cheap junk. The first came in a broken box (the plastic in the box was broken - lots of small fragments). The second came the same way. I bought the "real" one from my local auto parts store which was thicker and more flexible.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Plastic is too thin

Looks like hard plastic but it isn't. It's very thin. I pulled this used oil pan from under the car and bent the pan and some of the used oil spilled onto my garage floor. I had to use 2 hands to get it all the way out. Boys/Girls, that's too weak! Not a happy mechanic

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Has some disadvantages

I'm not really sure if it's torn and I just didn't realize it or it's broken when I oiled it the first time, but needless to say it was a total mess. I don't have pics because by the time I finished cleaning, freaking out and sweating, that bastard was already in the trash! Very thin plastic.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Fairly

Works great, that means

Works great, that means does what it's supposed to; holds oil. But it's very thin so filling empty bottles with oil is a pain when it starts flexing, it's so thin that if you're not very careful the oil will go everywhere as the mouth flexes begins. Spend a little more and get a bigger, stronger one if you don't want to clean up spilled oil after changing.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Simple but serves its purpose.

This is a standard 7 liter drip tray. I mainly use it to catch oil from my lawn mower when changing the oil. I had to use it for my car the other day and was very happy to have it. The oil change shop added 3 liters more to my car than it should, resulting in HUGE clouds of smoke coming out of my tailpipe. So I drained the 3 liters of oil. It is durable and works as it should.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Cheap, flimsy plastic oil pan.

The picture is not correct at all. it's coming back It's a cheap and flimsy pot, and I'm already trying to figure out how to carry it full of oil. It will wriggle out of your hands and crumble. The raised-looking handles are not much higher than the edge. Also, the spout isn't as sharp, resulting in more spills. And I paid $8.97 and now when I check it's an extra item for $3. I just return it and drive to Advance Auto in my city.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Decent sump for an occasional oil change

Great price but I had a problem it's advertised as having a 7 liter capacity which I don't think is true. My 2015 Wrangler JKU holds 6 liters of oil and I had to put the 3/4 oil drain plug back in because the drip pan was about to overflow. After emptying it, I estimated that there was still 1-1.5 liters of oil in the engine that needed to be drained. Capacity issues aside, this works as advertised (I mean it's a drip pan). The v-shaped drain on the rim to drain into the container could have…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Hard to say

does its job and nothing more. good product

Works exactly as advertised. Maybe that's a little superficial; When I started draining the oil from my bike it splattered a bit, which is to be expected when you buy something like this. Also, it was a bit difficult to pour out with the big spout, but the oil is dirty and I have an afnnel and that is the nature of business and there isn't much that can be done to make it better or different make. For the price it is made of good material, serves its purpose and is not burdensome. If you want…

  • New

  • Will not fit all
