Bought it and have been using it for a while now

This makes the wood on my carving block look very nice. It is easy to apply with a soft cloth or even a paper towel. I put it on about once a week when the flesh block starts to lighten and show wear and it looks almost new with this material. i really like it

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great Natural Wood Block Conditioner

I love this block conditioner. It smells really good, doesn't leave greasy stains on the table even if I accidentally use too much, and it doesn't stain my clothes or kitchen towels. I have to apply it more often than other conditioners but I don't mind as it is so comfortable to use and my meters look so pretty. Very satisfied.

  • GOLS Certificate

Ideal for conditioning the meat block counter

Excellent product. I used it to set up a new meat block counter. He emphasized the richness of the wood and sealed the surface. For best results, use once a day for the first week, once a week for the first month, and then once a month for maintenance. You will find that the wood absorbs less each time. That means it works and the wood is sealed.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No benefit

Really good product

Really good product. Easy to take off, easy to wash. Apply 4 coats in 2 days after applying 4 coats of Howard Butcher Block Oil in 2 days to a new hand cutting board and serving tray combination. The results were fantastic! A word of caution: this will make the wood much darker. For me it was ok. But if you want her to look like she did before treatment, think carefully. This is really a great product.

  • Nice packaging

  • Expandable

Good butcher block conditioning option

I finally got around to using this and it works well, definitely both oily and waxy so I'd say the description is pretty accurate. I bought two bottles and probably only needed one for about a 12 foot block of meat. I'm keeping the other one for rebuilding, which is needed periodically to avoid damage, but keep that in mind if you have less area to cover. This is my first time using a meat block so I have no comparison but it seemed to work as expected.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Does what it should.

I will continue to use it. Yes, cutting boards. That works great. Try it. Using it frequently with a new board right from the start will keep it in great shape. I also use it for wooden spoons, knife handles and any other food related wood that tends to dry out after frequent washing. It penetrates end boards faster than end boards, but let it sit and it will soak in. It will NOT bring the board back to life if you wash it in the dishwasher, so DO NOT do it with any sort of cutting. a board (of

Old block of meat needs conditioning

Our gauges were installed many years ago, long before we owned our home. And they needed some love. The product worked well to brighten up the countertops and seal some areas that had worn down over time. Our frames really need a sanding and redo but the wax/oil conditioner helped restore the color and it looks a lot better so we can wait now. Now I feel much more comfortable when the wood around the sink is also sealed. Water that hits the wood is repelled and collected in droplets instead of…
