My fault. The length is what I wanted and the ability to cut soft metal is what I wanted, but I forgot to check the blade width. I can't go over 1/4 inch which is 1/2 inch. It will not work. Write it down to experience it.

Cuts great, just keep away from steel.

I don't review often but I think these blades deserve it. Cuts bronze and aluminium, even the hardest alloys like paper. Use it on my Delta bench band saw. The bandsaw is only rated for a 3/8" blade, but this 1/2" blade was no problem. Unfortunately I tried it on 1/16" mild steel and the blade dulled to an unusable level very quickly. as the quality is superior to any other blade I have used for cutting non-ferrous metals.

Smooth, fast, straight cuts in wood and most metals

I had no idea anyone made bi-metal blades for small band saws. Works great and is the first blade for my little bandsaw to cut a straight line! TIP: Just don't make my mistake and don't try to cut something out of stainless steel (that's bad). It appears MUCH tougher than more typical forms of steel, changing the blade from one that cuts wood, aluminum, mild steel, brass, copper, etc. easily and smoothly to one that burns wood (and much more slowly than it used to). smooth cutting!) Highly…

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
