I like this book. I would give it five stars except that it needs two more pages, one with all lower case and the other with all upper case. If you want to find a letter, you have to look through the entire book, and the lowercase letters aren't in alphabetical order, so they're hard to find. But this book will really get you started.

Great little teaching tool but needs one page with all 26 capital letters and another page with lower case letters for simplicity. Tabs or maybe a table of contents would be nice for ease of use. If you want to search for a specific letter it is almost impossible to find it as they are not in alphabetical order.

Buy this book if you want to focus on learning a brush style (using small brushes) through repetition and muscle memory. This is of course a proven method and works if you stick to it. The book can be used over and over again by tracing letters onto blank sheets of tracing paper, or using a glowing rhodium-effect pad or other smooth paper. I have ordered several books and products from Kelly Creates and am happy with everything. Anyway, this book arrived safe and sound, but someone folded it. The front and back are heavy book quality card stock and are damaged. I'm pretty sure the post office or carrier did this so I'm not sending it back but it might help if the package said DO NOT FOLD. This tutorial is a must-read if you're just starting to paint with a brush. I like the spiral design and the sturdy lid. Pages are quality paper with three sheets of clean tracing paper for each lesson. And you can always use more of the tracing paper you have on hand when you need it.
