Description of πŸ”Œ Klein Tools NCVT2PKIT: Dual Range Non-Contact Voltage and Receptacle Tester for Versatile Applications

Kit contains a non-contact voltage tester and receptacle tester. Dual range NCVT-2P automatically detects and indicates low voltage range and standard voltage (48-1000V AC). NCVT-2P provides non-contact detection of standard voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets and wires. NCVT-2P is a lightweight, compact tool with pocket clip for convenient storage and quick access. CAT IV 1000 Volt rating provides expanded operation and protection. Screw-thread battery cap with O-ring ensures protection against dust and water ingress for the NCVT-2P. Receptacle Tester is designed to detect the most common wiring problems in standard receptacles.

Excellent, high-quality device for detecting hidden wiring

Good afternoon friends. Everything is fine. I hope you do the same. Earlier on my review there were Leco-IT Home bars. For a long time I could not decide where to mount them in my room. In fact, it was not a matter of one day. Since somewhere the walls were thin, somewhere behind the wall there was a pipe, and I would not dare, even if there was no place at all, to mount anything in such walls. The consequences of improper installation would lead to repair of the water supply and repair of the…

Pros
  • Build quality, price, really works
Cons
  • Not found

I am an electrical engineer and I can say with confidence to EVERYONE such a UNI-T UT12A AC voltage detector will be the most useless thing for an electrician! It is not possible to determine which particular wire is energized in the bundle, which wire (broken through) and where the break is. The only thing that can be done more intelligently with this device is to look for wires under the plaster, but such work is only needed when it is necessary to drill holes in the wall. In gray rooms, the

Pros
  • The device can roughly find the wire (cable) under the plaster.
Cons
  • This device is not very effective and not very functional!

Klein Tool Tester - Tester

This is a quality and reliable tester that provides voltage/current readings on cords and sockets. It also comes with a socket tester that will test your cable connections. These are useful tools when working with voltage lines.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Saved me from shock

I had an outdoor junction box that wasn't clearly marked and I cut the breaker that was supposed to be powering that circuit but the line was still there hot. I found another breaker and two wires to this box! A good tool that is always at hand.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

HVAC Voltage Tester Technical Overview

As an HVAC specialist, it tests both high voltage and 24VAC for quick troubleshooting. Distinguish between neutral/common wire and hot wire. In the HVAC-as-a-Service engineering industry, time is money and this saves time for quick diagnostics as needed.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Replacement Availability

Small NCVT2P Tester

I've used a Vom all my life but decided to try a 'Go, No Go' tester to make it easier when testing multiple outlets and in case I don't have a vom on hand. I bought this model because of the special voltage isolation that allows me to more accurately trace the hot side of the lines without stray fields giving me false readings.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Nothing here

Must have for sophisticated electrical work!

Small is the best in the business and a must for making switches and sockets. From making sure you've turned off the correct switch to making sure your outlet is properly grounded, this kit will take care of most of your home or office electrical work. This is from DIY to professional.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Very accurate and easy to use

This is a very good product, I have several of these testers when tracing circuits in control panels with high and low voltage combinations, this tester works very well, I don't know know I don't need a tester you plug into the outlet because I check everything in a different way. This is a fantastic tool and a highly respected company that you can't go wrong with.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Electrical Safety Essential

As my previous dimmer broke I wasn't 100% sure which switch the lights were connected to. I couldn't turn on the light and flip the switches. I have invested in this non-contact voltage detector. I'm glad I did, safety first. I had a bit of a shock a few years ago. I turned on the light in my dining room and flipped switches until they went off. Only the upstairs ceiling light was on a different circuit marked as a garage! My advice, don't risk it, CHECK and make sure the power is actually off.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
