Long delivery time (20 days)! No connection.

The product is good but it took me 20 days to get the parrot food. Good thing I had different food here, my bird would starve. There was no communication. I will not order from them again!

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Decent Pellets: Food

The pellets are really big and hard for my parrots to eat but at the same time they don't want to adapt to a pellet diet. It was very difficult to finish this bucket. Everything was on the ground because they had just dug it out of their containers. Fur. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Better than other brands.

Most brands offer many things that birds don't need. Corn, soybeans, and sunflower are not the best foods to mix into pellets. I ended up buying something more expensive because after using several different pellets with all these additives my birds started to look bad. They liked it, but they ate half and the other half fell on the floor. I would suggest looking for pellets with 100% natural ingredients.

Pros
  • Decent performance

I'm glad I didn't return

I almost returned these pellets because my budgie didn't seem able to chew on them. I was starting to wonder if I could wet them, so I went to lafaber.com/pellets as listed on the back of the packet and looked up how to get your parrot used to a new food. The underside mentioned wetting the pellets but warned that the dishes would need to be cleaned every few hours due to bacteria. I tried exactly that and my young budgie ate it. All the same! She used to get tired from a few short flights orโ€ฆ

Easy conversion to these pellets!

Now my birds love these pellets. If you want to wean your parrot off the seeds, try the method (which worked for me) of grinding the granules to a flour consistency (you can roll them out with a rolling pin in a plastic bag, it's easy to crush) and then some warm water to semi-liquid rolled oats. Then add the seeds that your birds normally eat. At first the birds will simply pluck and eat the seeds, but as they do so they will begin to identify and "taste" the pellets as a food sourceโ€ฆ

My picky bird (GCC) ate it

I spend a lot of money on pellets because both birds eat them well. I finally found it! I'm so glad they're starting to love this food. Green-cheeked kennel will eat (hand fed, bought from a breeder) for the first 1 month it has eaten but prefers to eat seeds. BOY" and a very happy attitude towards him after grabbing some pellets by his legs and moving to his beak while looking at me the whole time. after I said he's a good boy or something he sees happily out and winks back.
