High quality item but make sure it is what you want.

High quality product but make sure it's exactly what you need. That is, it does NOT hold ANY reading after being disconnected from the bus. There is another model that does this, but it costs more. My car has a built-in Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that uses sensors to show the pressure in each tire. On my old tires/sensors, the difference between the TPMS reading and this sensor was about 2psi. I recently changed tires and sensors and now the difference is 0-1 PSI. I trust this…

Good quality pressure gauge

Looks like a good quality pressure gauge and measures pressure correctly. ends? (Extra articulations are just additional potential sources of error). And some people have complained that it doesn't hold pressure readings after you take it off the tire. Well, if you want this feature, you can spend more money and get it. I don't need this feature, so I'd rather spend less and not get it. :) I recommend taking a cheap "pencil" sensor in every car, but keep a good one in your garage.

Large air gauge for accuracy.

Hose is a bit short but will fit most applications. It doesn't seem to have a rotating head (unless it's so tight that I'm afraid to rotate it). This makes reading the sensor a little awkward in cramped motorcycle spaces. However, it is very accurate and the display is easy to read. My model can't stand the memory load. The on-attach air pressure release is a handy feature if your tire pressure is too high. I like the angle head to attach to the tire valve. It feels a lot better in hand than…

My honest thoughts after two of them.

Bought in August 2014 and so far it's the most accurate sensor I've used to date. The chuck has worn out after 4 years of initially weekly use. Bought a replacement in 2018 but was disappointed with the deterioration in build quality so three stars would have given the original 5 stars. The new hose is more flexible and bends more easily than the first, in the first the pressure gauge and cartridge rotates the replacement, only the cartridge rotates, the outlet valve is very sensitive and…

Happy with purchase

Pros: Precise and accurate Feels solid and well made. Time will tell Cons: A little awkward to store in the glove box - no big deal, just leave it in the trunk next to the spare wheel. Summary: Nothing is as annoying as having 4 different gauges in the tires (2 dials, 1 knob, 1 digital) and none of them agreed with each other, sometimes more than 6psi, or with the car's TPMS system. It's hard to know who to rely on. I finally decided to ditch those cheap sensors and invest in a quality product.

Я купил этот манометр от 0 до 60 фунтов на квадратный дюйм и решил сравнить его точность с калиброванным манометром США на 0-300 фунтов на квадратный дюйм, который у меня already. The Longacre Racing gauge showed a height of about 6 pounds compared to my 0 to 300psi gauge when I used it to measure a small Cessna tire at 38psi. A few days later, Revain asked me to check out this Longacre racing sensor. I did, but shortly after posting my comment here with the discrepancy found and only giving…

Compare with TireTek Premium Large Dial Gauge (2 inch)

I bought this and the "TireTek Premium Large Dial" which is a few bucks cheaper than this one. Here is a direct comparison of the two. Both gauges are way better than the pencil gauges in the tires that I bought at my local auto parts stores. Both products gave ALMOST identical (but slightly different) pressure readings on multiple tests. Pros: This gauge gives more stable readings than the TireTek, which will have small differences between readings (only about 0.2psi I think, but I liked the…

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
