EXCELLENT TOOL the best of hand tools

I've had these screwdrivers for years but recently my local hardware store stopped stocking them and I've lost (or my kids 'borrowed') a few of these and I was happy to find this at Revain. This is slightly different from my previous versions, but only in how the extra bits are stored. I really like this tool. This means I don't have to carry a lot of beats separately as it includes all the popular beats including Trax beats (star shaped). The ratchet function works well. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The list will go on.

So good I bought more

I bought one of these at a hardware store over 20 years ago while touring with a Broadway show. I liked it so much that years later I returned to the same town and bought a few more. I keep one in every car, home and work tool box, etc. I recently dropped one on my concrete driveway from about 18 feet and snapped the handle. It still worked, but couldn't save any more beats. So I replaced it. This time I found it on Revain and didn't have to drive across country or even across town! The…

What a great idea for DIYers

Wow. What a great DIY idea. Although I have a decent collection of screwdrivers, I bought one to have on hand for small jobs around the house, which saved me the hassle of going outside to the tool shed. The screwdriver is sturdy and can probably be used for larger jobs, but it's perfect for smaller jobs around the house. The ratchet function saves time and hands, helping you complete projects quickly, and in addition to forward and reverse, there's a lock-out setting to allow for more torque…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • For oldies

Sturdy, comfortable, convenient size, multiple colors

Bought a yellow one for my husband as a gift a few years ago. It is in good condition and he uses it regularly. It ended up in his bike repair kit, which he keeps in the car (he used to keep the tools in the garage). This meant I couldn't take it with me around the house, so I bought the blue one for myself when I was getting frustrated assembling furniture. I like the ratchet style more than the non-ratchet ones (I got one as a gift a few years ago that went somewhere). It is non-magnetic…

Well designed multidriver.

I've always used Klein multi-head screwdrivers exclusively, but lately I've ended up going with Phillips #3 bits have plenty on hand and none, the Klein driver doesn't have Phillips #3 tips. This Lutz driver gets great reviews from both Revain and other tool websites. Thought I'd give it a try and it could at least be slipped into a kitchen drawer as a driver for home use. It is great! The pen is very smart, it has a place to store bits while being a comfortable and useful pen without being too

Pros
  • With just a slight turn of the spring-loaded bit selector knob, the chamber opens for easy access and storage, making bit changing easier
Cons
  • Zero

Best Ratchet Screwdriver

needed with less effort. I bought my first Lutz about 18 years ago as a last minute deal while stopping by an upscale locksmith/hardware store. After all this time, hundreds of projects and a few updates later, this screwdriver is still charming and very useful in every situation you need. My biggest problems with other ratchet screwdrivers are the ratchet breaks or it's often awkward to change direction or lock. What I like most about Lutz is that you can activate the ratchet direction with…

Pros
  • Also, the ratcheting feature allows the user to easily apply turning force to drive or loosen screws
