Doesn't work for my wife

My wife can't light this thing no matter how hard she presses the button. using a relatively strong hand to "hit" the piezo material hard enough to create a spark. At least that's my hypothesis. Other larger trigger lighters (Bic, Coleman, etc.) have a cam mechanism to increase the pull force. This "switch" does not work with the cam/force multiplier. If you buy from this seller, they will SPAM you even if you unsubscribe or call Revain to complain. I would say more but my reviews have been…

At full power when the power strip is fully compressed it will sometimes light up, maybe more often than not. I've never been able to fire it with my arm outstretched, and mine won't fire with the flow dial on anything other than max power either. To answer other reviews, the button is hard to press, but not useless for the vast majority of adults, and not uncomfortable for most adults. Ok lighter but the plastic part melts and breaks

==> From a technical point of view I think they break so easily because there is a plastic part in the tip of the lighter that melts (right where the flame is) comes out). If you light something while holding the lighter upside down (e.g. lighting a few candles in deep jars) this plastic will heat up and melt.
