My wife can't light this thing no matter how hard she presses the button. using a relatively strong hand to "hit" the piezo material hard enough to create a spark. At least that's my hypothesis. At full power when the power strip is fully compressed it will sometimes light up, maybe more often than not. I've never been able to fire it with my arm outstretched, and mine won't fire with the flow dial on anything other than max power either.
