great for working with cars

Works like a charm, I'm a mechanic and bought these because I burned myself trying to remove the Toyota oil filter. Because of this, those hideous Japanese couldn't catch me for a long time. Not with their Lexus, not with their offspring, not even with their Subarus Mwaha-ha-ha!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Fine

The sleeves are comfortable and fit my arms

They were sent in a t-shirt for my protection while riding my motorcycle. Also used with great success for various gardening and construction work. The sleeves are comfortable and fit my arms. The ends are tight enough to stay at elbow height. I'm very average/athletic 6 feet.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • sad packaging

Great for glassblowing

My daughter attended CSU Chico's glassblowing class. On the first day of class, she sent me photos of her hands, which were red from the heat. I immediately started looking at the sleeves she could wear to class. These will work perfectly for you. Not fat and not too thin. In her opinion, the thickness is ideal and protects her hands and most hands. I never realized how intense the heat is when blowing glass and these ferrules help withstand the heat. Good product.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Good protection from scratches and cuts

Satisfied with this product. They do what they were bought for, protecting the forearms and wrists from tearing in the cracks of cars and bushes. The material is highly resistant to scratches and cuts. It is knitted so that direct penetration with thin pointed objects (thorns) is still possible. Size: 18 inches on the table, stretched neatly to length. First tighten 16" just above the elbow (male, slim, 32" sleeve). During use, it detaches from the elbow and only protects the forearm.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons

Durable and good thermal protection along the arms during operation.

I thought I'd left a review on this item shortly after purchasing it, but my opinion hasn't changed in the months since I originally purchased this item. These long sleeves go great with my car. They are fairly easy to keep clean and maintain and kept my hands warm while still allowing good mobility with tools. When it's colder outside, I've found that it also keeps my hands warm. It's good to have extra protection on hand.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Too Stupid

Everyone laughed at me.

When I put them on the grill for the first time, everyone laughed. But while her hands were red and burning, I was fine! A bit hot as you would expect when cooking on 2 3 x 7 foot charcoal grills and in a closed charcoal oven. (We prepare 50 to 400 people several times a year). Now let's all get dressed while cooking! No more burns! Mine goes in the washing machine after each use. The color is a bit faded but other than that they are perfect! If you grill often, they are the best protection for

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Out of style

Injured firefighter / nerve damage in arm and arm, sleeve = lifesaver.!

Hello world. I can't say enough good things about these sleeves. After serious injuries while working as a firefighter, nerve damage in both arms and hands, and 20 surgeries later, I was in such severe nerve pain that anything that touched my hands put me in a world of pain. The nerve pain was out of control. So I gave them a chance. The whole idea was to block the sensation of touch in my hands. And guess how it helps. These sleeves are amazing. When I'm having a really bad day due to nerve…

Pros
  • Looks nice
Cons
  • I'm worried
