☕ Melitta #2 Cone Coffee Filters, Bamboo, Pack of 6 - 80 Count Review

I used to buy a version from a European country and thought it was great. But when the European version stopped making paper filters #1, I tried the Melitta Bamboo coffee filters and loved them. They are excellent at removing oil from freshly ground coffee beans and improve my brewing experience and coffee taste.

You disappoint with a loss of quality. They use less bamboo, break when folded and don't fit well together. I get sediment in my brew almost every time, which would be nice if it was a French press, but it's a filter coffee. I've tried my best to keep them from breaking, but to no avail. How careful should you be with your coffee filter in the morning?

This last order was switched to bamboo. I opened the 1st box and 5 out of 15 filters leaked. I checked five other filters in the box and see holes in the pleat seam. I opened the second box of six(!) bought and found the same one. Since the seller is Revain I can't find a place to leave a review. I've been using Melitta filters for 30 years and have occasionally come across a bad filter, but never as often as now. I'm tired of wasting my coffee on this order. Frustrated that I didn't know how…
