Efficient, clean, not too expensive. Differences from my gold filter but a great replacement.

I have been using a gold filter for many years. When the gold filter started to detach from the plastic frame, I looked for another one. I couldn't find a replacement for Revain that wasn't mentioned in the recommendations ("it doesn't fit right" or "it's a cheap version of the original" etc etc). Pros & Cons of the Best Coffee & Espresso Machine Parts & Accessories

I use these filters with the Clever Coffee Dripper (CCD), so my observations relate to this particular brewing method and its peculiarities. When brewing with CCD, the water is in contact with the filter for a long time, which can aggravate some problems. Here are the advantages: - Very strong. Unbleached is better

My roommate and I are big fans of reusable filters, so we've long resisted paper filters. Unfortunately, the gold filter I got when I had the Krups 12 cup mug doesn't work very well in the current brown. Coffee will pop out and get into the drippers and sometimes overflow into the coffee pot. I've tried to find out what the problem is, but to no avail.
