Nice lenses but HORRIBLE spouts

Don't buy. I bought 2 and each one broke the spouts and either way it's a terrible design. The first was put into service, everything seemed fine, but towards the end of the season the spout's cap broke so it leaked with each use and had to be discarded. It was used for power tools and a backup generator and the gas flow was very slow but tolerable given the small amount of gas released. The second sat in the garage untouched for a couple of years, but when it was finally put to use, the spring

It's a gas canister with a terrible spout that we all hate.

This is a gas cartridge. Holds Gas. Sure, the federal filler is terrible and you're going to spill fuel everywhere, but they're all like that these days. I hope the guy who made the decision to claim these spouts gets fired! It's easier to just remove the spout and use a funnel or. I recommend buying a spray can and separately buying a regular spout that used to come with gas sprays. I did this. I don't understand why I can't buy a canister with a regular spout to avoid spilling fuel…

Excellent canister, Terrible spout

A very high quality gas cylinder made from relatively thick plastic. The top and rear handles make it relatively easy to maneuver and hold a full can. The downside to this can (like all modern EPA-approved gas cylinders) is the spout. First, the instructions for using the spout are under the label on the front of the jar and are not obvious. My wife and I spent a lot of time "freeing" the spout to allow the water to flow. After finally finding the instructions, we were a little struck by the…
