Good improvement over other similar devices

We've updated our long-running Badboy Xtreme and Ubiquiti Bullet, which arrived non-functional. We were able to set it up quickly through a web browser. There is also an app, but the web browser seems easier to use. The device itself is made of high quality metal and comes with brackets and an antenna. The antenna doesn't seem to be of that high quality but should hopefully last a few years in inclement weather. The photos show how it is installed on our sailboat. Ideal for boats or RVs

Microtik Wireless, what rubbish.

I live in a rural area so there is no other 5GHz noise nearby. I used my UBNT gear to do spectral analysis for verification. I tried all the setup features and found that the AC is more reliable than 25Mbps in CAPsMAN mode. I like the CAPsMan idea, but it's really slower than beans. Microtik makes great routers, but their wireless performance leaves a lot to be desired. My UBNT device can output 250Mbps+ per TCP stream using iPerf. Oh well.

My RV Coverage - Networking Products

Wow! This is a fantastic product. Luckily I have a buddy who has been using them for years. With the Winbox.exe application, setting up this device is a breeze. Just plug it into your PC and use your browser or app to set it up. This improved my wireless connection in my trailer by 300%. However, you have to work with the antenna. I am currently using the included angle adapter and mounting the antenna horizontally instead of vertically. The increase in performance was significant. I had to…

Ideal for capturing distant WiFi signals on a boat

I have been using MikroTik Groove products on my own boats as well as many other customers' and customers' boats for over 3 years. This is a great device to place outside on an arch or spreader and will capture a remote WiFi signal for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. It is one of the few products on the market that supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz, which is especially important in marinas where 2.4GHz is congested and almost never used. Couple this with an internal router and you've got a great…
