Enhance Fuel Efficiency with Motorcraft FD4595 Fuel Filter Review

I used it to replace the fuel filter in my 1995 Ford F350 7.3 diesel. Removing the old one and installing the new one (this one) was no problem.

The filter fits perfectly. Unhappy with the way the gasket for the filter is shrink wrapped. The seal was deformed and practically unusable. I had to put it in a hopper and leave it inside over a heater for a few hours to get it back to its almost round shape.

Revain's 'match' car part selection process proved accurate in finding the right filter for my diesel. The product arrived as expected and the exchange was relatively easy. The rubber o-ring was deformed, but upon careful observation when unscrewing the cap, it snapped into place properly.

I replaced the stock fuel filter on my 96 F250 7.3L with this one but I had a problem, the screw cap didn't fit this filter. So I had to get a filter from wix that already includes the header so I can't use it next time. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 is because it doesn't and doesn't fit the factory cap. Although it's probably my fault

Replaced an old dirty fuel filter on a recently purchased 97 F250 7.3 Powerstroke. A note to mention; I had to buy a new cap from the dealer for this filter. It will only fit dealer filter caps. I think you can buy aftermarket fuel filters with a cap, but when you go back to em filter it won't fit. At first I thought the filter was wrong but it was just a cap.
