I already have several of these and this fits perfectly. It offers super-fast connectivity to all my Wi-Fi devices and there seems to be no dead zones around the house. The signal is strong and stable. Very easy to set up, highly recommend. Update 12/23/19 - I recently had an issue connecting Roku devices. Roku problem solved! I have a Netgear EX7300v2 power strip with Smart Connect/Smart Roaming. This feature allows you to use a single Wi-Fi name throughout your home. This feature aims to…

The form factor is good. Cons

Pros: Works fast. The form factor is good. Cons: Why should I create an account that is mirrored to NETGEAR servers? The product can work offline, but there is no reason why I should be forced to register for a support forum account to use the product. The web interface is very slow. other hand) periodically reset the routing with the two latest firmware versions (1.0.0.40 and 1.0.0.44), and at the same time the router configuration page showed an incorrect connection status. the last two…

Don't be fooled by claims of superior performance.

I paid a high price for this product and expected the superior quality promised. But it was a waste of money. Despite proper placement and signs of a very strong signal, the router signal speed drop varies from 60% loss to 95% loss, typically around 75% loss. Extension cords that cost 1/3 more can match and even exceed the performance of these devices. The only positive thing I can say about it is that the design of the plastic case is aesthetically pleasing. Updated May 29, 2018. a few days…

Worked fine for 30 days, but then.

Easy setup in 5 minutes and now I have no dead spots in or around my house. Although it's not mentioned anywhere except for a few obscure reviews, be aware that with any of these "range extenders" or repeaters, you're trading bandwidth for coverage. Because they pass the signal from your wireless router in repeater mode, your connection speed is about half that of your router. This is fine as long as your ISP gives you enough bandwidth to get started. In my case, my router is putting out just…

Wow, the range is AMAZING!

I swear I've tried them all - this is by far the best! We have 6500 sqm. ft., spread over 4 floors in a concrete building that was very difficult to maintain a decent wi-fi signal. We have a Comcast/Xfinity wired internet connection and have tried EVERYTHING for a decent signal! We first tried a Nighthawk x6 tri-band WiFi router and extender and it didn't work in half the building. We then tried just using a router and a couple of extenders (all extenders on the market). We even tried Google…

  • There are other interesting options.

The wiring process was problematic at best. After connecting to only half of the connected devices, service ranged from mediocre to poor or non-existent. Other devices could not be connected because each attempt resulted in an error. When I tried to connect to the NetGear site, although I was able to connect to any other site, I was never able to connect. When I called support, I waited 20 minutes and spoke to a representative who was only interested in a warranty update. Information. Please…

Great if you want to switch on and off each day to stay connected

Totally disappointing. The attitude was fine. It took a few tries to properly negotiate the initial connection to my router, but once it was up and running, the range was excellent, as was the speed. I was happy for 3 weeks. Then all connected devices could not access the internet. A quick power off and on again solved the problem after a reboot. Then I was fine for another 2 weeks and had to turn the device on and off again to access the internet. Then it went like this for 1 week. Then every…
