I received this engine a few days after ordering. A bit difficult to assemble simply because the old fan motor had a lot of dust, dirt, grime etc. I used a drill with a wire brush attachment to clean the area around it, as well as some tin shutters that were elevated. the fan itself (had to take them off, easy; use goggles too! very dirty!). Replaced bathroom fan motor that has burned out. The fan was an unknown brand that had been installed when the house was built in 1957. The mounting holes matched exactly and the shaft length was right. Mounting hole spacing was 4" and 4/5" B-pillar to B-pillar or 5" outside edge to outside edge. It was a perfect fit for my fan, but if it doesn't fit your fan you can use a small nozzle and drill mounting holes where you need them. This is an easy fix, so don't waste your time trying to find the
