I have a locking impact wrench that only cost me a screwdriver with no bits about 60 years ago. I had a Blue Point impact wrench and two Phillips bits from a lock truck, but they were stolen from my house when my dad started showing a worker "his" tools. The worker stole the tool and both Phillips cutters. Anyone working on the bike alone will need one of these to remove side panels, whether they are attached with bolts or hex bolts. It's great that it has a flange to protect your hand fromโ€ฆ

Great Impact Tool

I needed an impact tool to remove the infamous Honda brake disc bolts. The reviews about this driver were good, so I decided to take it. These bolts have not been removed from the car for 10 years and it is rusty. I was expecting the heads to be ripped off and I'd drill out the screws, but heck a screwdriver might work. I fitted the appropriate nozzle, inserted it into the rotor screw and loosened the screw with a couple of hammer blows. It was the same with the other three. The heads didn'tโ€ฆ

I dared this tool and it was worth it!

The OTC 4608 Impact Wrench quickly removed the four rotor mounting bolts on my 2007 Honda Fit (1.5L car base). Adjusting the impact wrench to loosen the bolts was as simple as folding the screwdriver and twisting it to the left (i.e. leave it to loosen). I've found that it works best if I first apply torque to the driver by turning them to the left and then smack them with moderate consecutive hits. You don't have to beat the shock motor to death for it to work. Just twist it counterclockwiseโ€ฆ
