I think these are better batteries than I've had before and the chargers are more reliable. I expect around 1000 charge cycles from lithium batteries which is around 3 years for average devices like my home phones. They were quite expensive, but they don't leak and hold a charge for a long time (months). Also, the phone somehow knows and doesn't work on regular alkaline batteries.

The charger is fine. You can charge individual batteries. When you insert the battery, you will see an indicator light above each slot. Sometimes it doesn't work. I have to put the batteries back in to turn on the light. In addition, it charges very quickly. I've noticed that Eneloop batteries aren't as good as regular batteries. My electric toothbrush lacks power and torque. It also loses power quickly over several days. I suspect that all rechargeable batteries may not be as good as regular…

Since 2010 I have replaced all my batteries with Eneloop batteries. The new charger is much faster than the old one. I like the new lighting system compared to the useless flashing light. Although they have a digital display charger, it's not available in the US, so it's the best in the US. This is larger and the batteries get hotter due to the faster charging. I have always wanted this charger and have been waiting for the price to drop. I couldn't justify buying just the charger. It was good…
