jump in acceleration.

Fantastic product! A significant increase in acceleration! Waiting to see if I get the mpg increase people are talking about. Take it, you won't be disappointed!

Cons
  • Legacy model

AK and N products will never let you down.

Easy installation. If you own a 2015 f150 3.5 Ecoboost you will feel improved throttle response and reduced turbo lag. One point increase in performance.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Disappears

Still good parts

I have used a K&N air intake in my last 3 cars and still love them. I am an avid off-roader and drive a lot on gravel roads. Everything is fine with them, you just need to clean them more often in such conditions. I wish the rubber grommets were a solid piece of softer rubber.

Good product, took just over an hour to install

+ Much better engine sound + Much more noticeable turbo noise + A decent but small improvement in performance. You must have realistic expectations of this product. You're unlikely to see the full 23hp of it (more like half) and it POSSIBLY gave me 0.5mpg better economy. But it's a little more power and a little more efficiency. Win.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

2 mpg gain on a truck with a 4 inch height and 35 inch tires!

Very happy with the cold air intake! I chose K&N or Roush and chose this one because it was cheaper. I think Roush will sound a little bit better but this one is still amazing! I haven't noticed a huge difference in performance, but I've gained 2mpg and have a 2015 f150 with 4 lift on 35 tires! Super happy with this product!

Installation was easy from YouTube

Can't rate the performance yet. Installing YouTube was easy. I spread the contents out on the table and compare it to the installation inventory, it seems normal. After removing my airbox and assembling this kit, I found that there were 2.3" rubber links and 1.4" rubber links. There should be 3 1/2", 3" and 4" rubber connectors. I got it to work but what a pain in the butt.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Everything ok

This was a good upgrade for my 2016 F150

This was a nice upgrade for my 2016 F150. It fit perfectly and was easy to assemble. It took about 30 minutes from start to finish. The intake/turbine noise wasn't very loud to begin with, but after about 1000 miles it got a lot louder and sounds like a twin turbo is supposed to sound. My truck was brand new when I first installed it and I think it still adapted to my driving style. HP is strong and at the same time it rolls/raises faster.

Absolutely worth it!

I've always had K&N air filters in my trucks and have a lot of experience with them. I thought I'd take a chance and do a cold air intake this time. It was pretty easy to install even if you do it yourself. Sounds really good on start (nice little whistle) and amazing when you turn the engine on. I can notice a noticeable change in horsepower, especially when the turbos kick in. Of course, if you sit down and watch it, you'll see your MPG go down. After a few full tanks, however, fuelโ€ฆ

Was easy to install in about 3 hours

Was easy to install in about 3 hours. There were few instructions but the pictures helped. I struggled initially, but a bit of silicone grease really helped with assembly. This should be stated in the instructions. The electrical air sensor is in a different location on the new K&N intake than on the stock unit. To do this I had to strip several feet of wire harness so I could get some extra wire length. I hate splicing small electrical wires as engine vibration always causes wires to short out

Pros
  • Air Intake
Cons
  • Faulty
