good for the price - garage & shop

It would be better if it was attached to the mirror like a grease gun. Pretty difficult to stay calm and in line in tight spaces. But it works on all but the most desiccated knots.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

It looks like it should stick to the fitting like grease.

4 (of 28) fittings on my tractor are clogged. This tool did not delete any of them. It looks like it's meant to be attached to the fitting like a grease gun, but the hole in this tool is so small it only sits on top.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Long delivery time

No O ring! Doesn't hold oil!

I wish there was a 'zero star' option instead of one star. The kit does not include an O-ring, so oil cannot be drawn into this tool. Literally useless. Maybe I have an unfinished product? Maybe someone reading this will send me a working device!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Quality

This tool doesn't work.

This tool is bullshit. Although I've read bad reviews about the oil just blowing out the o-rings in the tool instead of getting into the fitting, I'll try anyway. When I tried it, the oil just blew through the o-rings inside and didn't get into the fitting. Waste of time, waste of money.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

One of these is already in your toolbox

This is one of those products that should be in your toolbox because you're going to need it at some point! This is now part of my toolbox for installing Zerk (okay, it's actually an old cigar box remade). Haven't used it yet and will update later! Everything seems fine - a bit crudely made, but for the price - if it works when I really need it - it's worth its weight in gold!

Pros
  • The Good Thing
Cons
  • Useless Features

Don't waste money! Overall grade -5!

I needed to grease the forearm of my 81 year old car. I poured (?) the tool and hit it with a hammer, splashing fat between the barrel and the body. Nothing goes into the pen. Complete Chinese junk. A few years ago I had a similar tool that worked very well, most likely it was made here because it did what it was supposed to do.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Warning: Do not use this tool without safety goggles.

Warning: Do not use this tool without safety glasses. This tool doesn't work very well, although it did clear about 25% of clogged grease fittings. The remaining fittings had to be removed and cleaned manually. This creates an oily mess and a dangerous condition where oil is thrown out of the back of the tool when struck with a hammer. It seems that most of the effort is wasted at the cleaning end when the oil is blown out on the back of the tool. This can be tragic if the glasses are not…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Leaked on the inside good for garage & shop

Manually fill the unit with oil by removing the Zerk cap and replacing it after filling with oil. the end of the anvil (the part you hit with the hammer) and almost no grease got into the fitting. So I replaced the DSLR with a new fitting and made a few more tries, but on every subsequent try it leaked almost completely. Grease from the back of the tool, not into the transom mount. return for refund

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
