Lifebuoy is good for Hand Tools

Because I have arthritis in my hands, I use them every day to open any jar, water bottle, or screw cap. For me this is a lifesaver. I would wholeheartedly recommend this for clutch issues.

  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • Nothing

Don't waste your money

I was trying to use these on my bike to remove part of the seat post. Total failure. Rubber does not stick, very slippery. I tried wiping off all the IPA (alcohol) but it still didn't hold. I ended up gluing the piece and using a vise. I don't think they will work for anything. The grips are ok but the rubber is not good.

It worked. Worth the price.

Working. I had to work very hard to uncap a stuck bathroom faucet that had to be removed to get to a leaking valve to replace it. The rubber strap is very slick and actually quite slippery around the sleek chrome bezel. But when I pulled on it and held it, the part eventually came loose. It was $10/11 but it was ok. Maybe that works better for a jar or something you can hold on with a strap.

Did what I needed!

I bought this for one reason: unscrew the housing on my 20" "Big Blue" water filter. Its diameter is about 6-7". I just couldn't unscrew it by hand It wasn't easy finding a tool that would help with such a large diameter, but this one ticked all the boxes and did the job.installed correctly, the larger of the two tools gave me the leverage I needed to loosen the filter housing .He is worth his money!

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Do not use this

Firstly, when you open it, there is a very strong smell of rubber. For example, put them outside for a while. Also, I wouldn't recommend its feature. Rubber doesn't stick! How can I delete something with this? My arms are much stronger. Well that aside, maybe if you have weaker hands and want to open a jar or something, this might work. I tried to loosen the 1/2" x 5" hose I just put on but I just couldn't get it out. They did nothing but slip. Rubber is imperfect and weak. I decided to secure…

  • Adjustable Wrench
