Only lasted 2 months

The phone held up well on the dash but only lasted 2 months. Not very well done. The fastener is still stuck to the dashboard and is very difficult to remove, but the 'levers' holding the phone in place have broken off. Have considered a replacement but might try a different brand. I've had pop connectors on my phones for the past 2 years and I really like them, but the mount isn't that good.

  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I recommend looking for something else.

Probably a great product if you use an iPhone 5 or similar phone. Probably the iPod Touch would be ideal for my daughter. Almost useless for iPhone 8 Plus. iPhone 8 Plus is too heavy for this product. It fell off my truck dashboard after 2 days of intended use. Not worth the money. I would continue to look for a higher quality product if you are an iPhone 8 Plus user.

Holds popsocket/phone securely

I like these things. There is an ideal place for the phone in the car. There's just no place to store your phone in the car. They solve this problem perfectly and in any place I want. I don't use it for texting, but mainly for charging between destinations or using Google Maps. I'm not good at navigating so I can use maps and drive much safer. It's durable and can hold my pop jack phone securely.

Do not use with aluminum pop sockets.

They won't last long if you have to use them multiple times a day. It also started working very quickly after I switched to an aluminum popsocket. I think they were specifically molded for plastic and never adapted for metal. Holsters really need to be metal to make them last longer. longevity aside. They work great. I attached mine to a metal plate so I can use it magnetically in my car without interfering with the popsocket functionality. But there are now better solutions. Just search for…

Works perfectly. Stays in place and holds my iPhone 8 Plus.

My daughter broke my previous mount which I had for about a year with no problems. The mount was still attached to my dash, but the grips broke when she tried to push the phone in with a lot of pressure. Withstands normal everyday use very well. When I bought my first mount, a few people complained that the mount wouldn't stay on. I was prepared to use super glue if needed. Had not. Like I said, my previous mount lasted about a year and the adhesive never came off. Both times I installed my…

Don't buy if you have a 2016 Nissan Rogue

Don't waste your money on a PopSockets mount - it attaches to your car if you have a 2016 Nissan Rogue. It really can't stick anywhere unless you want it on the passenger side of the car. If you want to use PopSockets for air vents, this might be better (I haven't tried that). I tried to put it to the right of the radio/AC but it was too far away and when the sun is on the passenger side you can't see the map on your phone. Then I tried to tape it under the left driver's side air vent above the

My husband likes it but I don't.

My husband and I have phone jacks. He's got a bigger phone than mine, with a metal case that makes it heavier, so he prefers his security to the magnetic disk alternative we've attached to the air conditioner vent. With the magnet option and its more aggressive touchscreen approach, its phone becomes unstable and falls over at times. I don't have this problem with my phone/case. I prefer to quickly install and pull out the phone when I need it. Mounting on a pop jack requires a more focused…

The best phone mount you will ever own. No exaggeration.

This is the best phone mount I've ever had. It's simple and unobtrusive, so it won't get in the way when you don't have your phone with you - it just blends into the dashboard. strong glue; I've had enough for three years of outdoor parking in the sun. It's so easy to just pop your phone in when you get in your car, no fiddling with adjustable mounts like other mounts. Your phone stays in place. I drove over 200 miles to work every day on bad roads, my phone has never shifted, even after…
