Works great and well priced

Works great and well priced, I've used it on several Honda B series engines with no problems. This is a 50mm crank tool, there are some Honda vehicles that require a 45mm crank tool and it will not work for them. abruptly when using interrupters. If your screw is REALLY stuck and you just can't get it out, take the car to the dealer and have the screw removed and put back. The cost is $50 or free depending on how generous the retailer is. feeling, and it will come off very easily afterwards.

Perfect for Accord V6 Harmonic Balancer Bolt Timing Belt

The tool worked great on a 2006 Honda Accord V6. I have a 1200 ft/lbs percussion pistol in reverse and it couldn't get the 19mm bolt out of the harmonic balancer. The only way to break the harmonic balance screw is to loosen it with this tool. You must have two people for the job, but it can be done with one person. If you support the tool so that the press tool rests on the front axle of the vehicle's shaft while using a 19mm socket with a large enough pry bar, it will work. You'll need a lot…

Perfect tool, perfect fit, perfect price

The 2000 Honda Accord EX and 2005 Honda Odyssey EXI had the unique pleasure of doing two Honda timing belt jobs back to back. While a Honda technician might reasonably scoff at such whining, changing a timing belt on ANY vehicle is a daunting task for the layperson. If you're doing the heavy lifting of changing the timing belt on your Honda and you lack an impact wrench reliable enough to loosen a pulley bolt, this tool is a must. I bought this aftermarket tool as an alternative to the…

Pulley Bolt Removal Tool

My car is a 2003 Accord V6. The tool worked well for me when replacing the timing belt on my car. The fit is a bit sloppy as other reviewers have pointed out, but that can be remedied by wrapping it in duct tape or aluminum foil. The loose fit may be intentional to ensure it fits the pulley seat; a little less is better than a little more. In my case I used a large magnet to hold the tool in the pulley recess. There are several videos on YouTube showing the use of the tool in combination with a

A must have for any Honda/Acura enthusiast

As the name suggests this is a great tool for any Honda or Acura enthusiast. If you need to remove the crankshaft pulley, do yourself a favor and buy this tool. I've done 2 timing belt changes with it and I think it's definitely worth the money. The Honda bolt is factory torqued to 181 ft-lbs. Trust me it's there. At first I thought it could be removed with an impact wrench, NO! You have to believe me, it's still hard to remove even if you have an impact wrench rated over 181 ft.lbs. You can…

Worked great. in Tools & Equipment

Little can be said because it has already been said. Used to replace the timing belt on a Honda Accord. Worked great. I have read that impact wrenches are not suitable for the crankshaft pulley bolts. Recommend google instructions from http://honda-tech.com/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/how-replace-timing-belt-timing-balancer-belt-water-pump-f22b1-1908944/It does sorry if i am not allowed to post links but that is what i followed. About it and the service manual. I've never done a project this large

If you've ever attempted to remove a crankshaft pulley from a 1994 Honda Accord (I have a DX) without this specialty tool or a similar one, you know it's a futile endeavor. It's really difficult. Even with this tool, I had to use a 6ft pipe as a cheat bar and put most of my 200lbs on the bar to loosen it (I'm guessing it actually took over 600ftlbs to do after 9 years without a timing belt change break). As other reviewers have pointed out, it sits a little loose on the pulley, but I don't…
