these works. They only fit small hair. .

These works. They only fit small hair. They're cheap but have saved my wrists on a number of occasions. A 33 year old 6ft 2in, 235lbs probably shouldn't be skateboarding but I'm sure they won't put me in a cast after a day of riding.

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • Sparse instruction

Quality protective gear product

Size chart appears to be accurate. The integrated elastic material between the braces follows the shape of the hand and wrist and creates an even pressure. If there's a downside, it's that all sweat soaks into the fabric. Hand wash only as one of the braces is sewn into the design.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Has flaws

Impact and tear resistant

Gloves made of elastic material, including all straps. They are too stretchy to absorb enough shock for good wrist protection. As a result, I can't hear my right wrist very well. Also, my left glove tore at the seam because the Mateo wasn't sewn properly (see photo)

Pros
  • 1 year trial period

They have changed over the years

These ProTec bracers have been used for years. The plastic used has changed, it has become thinner and more flexible. Also, the curvature at the wrist is sharper, which makes it feel uncomfortable when you put it on. I'd rather use them than give them up, but they're not as good as they used to be.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Frequency

Great product, meets expectations.

Exactly what I was looking for. I don't understand some reviews. I've almost passed that point. This is an almost exact version of what I've been using for several years but had to replace my original palm guard due to daily wear and tear. I fell with my current exact same model and never had a problem - it protected my hands. I have no doubt this couple will do the same.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Some problems

The elastic band creates too much tension.

The middle main strap is elastic. The elastic must be stretched to hold securely, and tension prevents blood circulation. This model is a copy of a similar model from World Industries where the central strap is fabric as is the seat belt as it should be. The thumb hole is also too small and in the wrong place. When you stick your thumb through the hole, the sleeve rotates and the central protective plastic bar moves out of the way. Whoever makes them has never tried them on.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Some small things

No protective pads

I don't write reviews unless the product was terrible or exceeded my expectations. In this case the product was terrible. I am 35 years old and have been roller skating for most of my life. I had a pair of Roces wrist guards which lasted a very long time then 187 wrist guards which were decent now I recently ordered these Protecs. I don't know why they have such a high rating. They are true to size but very uncomfortable. There is a plastic support rod on the top. Due to the very little…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

I broke my wrist using this

01/23/2020 By "too thin" I mean the width of the bottom plastic piece wasn't wide enough to protect my entire palm when I was on hit the ground. I really think the triple 8 plastic piece would have saved my bones because it's wide enough to cover my palm. Also, the large Protec pulled the piece of plastic to one side of my palm rather than the center of my palm. I recommend the Triple-8 Wrist Guard instead of this product. ----------------------- ---- I crashed my uni at 22 mph, all my fault…

Poor fit and quality

Bought these for my 18 year old son who previously broke his wrist skateboarding. (He hasn't worn a protector once.) They look good, the elastic straps are strong and the plastic protector is solid. HOWEVER, after one, yes, small wipe, there is a tear on the underside of the thin fabric in the palm/under-finger area. This area hasn't even touched the ground yet! The thumb hole is in the wrong place and causes it to move sideways when you try to adjust it. We have a big one and he is almost 6ft…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Update availability
