2003 BMW 530i Xenon low beam bulbs are not as good as original bulbs

These bulbs were advertised for a 2003 BMW E39 with Xenon headlights. I like to do this myself and have replaced my AC motor, radiator, suspension, wishbones, water pump etc on my 530i so changing those bulbs shouldn't have been a problem. The tab on the back of the lamp was obviously broken. or very weak and broke under light pressure when attaching/mounting the power cord from behind. Appears to be low quality plastic. After installation, the bulbs did not light up for about three minutes…

Worked for JX35 (QX60) 2013

Worked as original equipment for our Infiniti JX35. It looks like it will also work on the 2014-2015 QX60 as they use the same hardware as the JX35. Use the QX60 headlight replacement instructions on YouTube. First you unscrew the big gray dust cap. Unplug the igniter (it's the silver block at the end of the bulb that just "releases" when pulled). There is a U-clip that holds the bulb in place after you remove the igniter. You simply push each end of that "U" inward towards the lightbulb. The…

Great BMW X5 Xenon Low Beam Headlight Replacement

If you go to your local auto parts store you will pay at least $100 for a xenon low beam headlight bulb replacement for your BMW X5. I have a 2006 BMW X5 and bought them for $20 a pair. I just replaced a blown bulb and decided to replace both low beam headlights as well. They don't appear to be as bright as the series, but it's hard to tell when looking at them in daylight. However, I prefer the temperature color of these lamps (much more than pure white). If you try to do this exchange…

Pros
  • This is Awesome
Cons
  • Useless Features

Just received, can't tell how long it will last. 2010 Infiniti 2010 Infiniti G37x, 9 year old bulbs in, they're whiter, less yellow, stock might be 4500k, just because it's bigger doesn't make it better. it's just a color and a Kelvin rating. Lumens are brightness. It's worth it if your car is older and you stock bulbs. You can easily save $250 by doing it yourself. Don't worry about the YouTube video. You don't have to loosen every screw as they say, just enough to get your hand back In there…

will not work with Nissan/Infiniti factory ballasts

Great bulb replacement! I think they are a little lighter than the original but they have 244,000 miles on them. Bought these for my 2007 g35 sedan. Installation is not difficult, but to do this you need to climb under the wheel arch liner. It's not really the products fault, thanks Nissan. The price can only cheer. The kit cost me $23 when the auto parts store listed a bulb for a Hundo. Hopefully it lasts a long time but to be honest with that much difference in price I wouldn't mind if I only
