Excellent strap wrench. I bought this so I can remove the bit if I overtighten the chuck on my keyless drill. This gets the job done without destroying the surface of the chuck like a regular pipe wrench would. It takes a while to figure out how to wrap the strap so it holds up, but once you do, it snaps into place and you can secure your pipe or drill a drill chuck.

Works fine as long as I used double sided tape

the pipe. I've tried every conceivable configuration with no luck. If you want to see wildly different perspectives on a tool's correct use, search "how to use a strap wrench" and see that they are used in all configurations I've tried with apparent success. Even the two videos I found specific to this particular key don't exactly match how to use it. I finally got lucky, put double sided tape under the straps and set everything up as shown in the first Rigid video to appear on Google.

500 lb Wrench Gorilla

This strap wrench can twist the most stubborn objects. I bought this specifically to unscrew the impeller from the pool pump shaft as it's glass filled plastic and you can't grab it with a metal tool without risking damage. In the meantime, I have unscrewed the plexiglass shell from the air pressure regulator/filter, which was stuck and defied all other attempts, and now I use it regularly to unscrew entire house water filter canisters when changing the filter. It works way better than the…

Incredibly powerful all in one tool

I used it to install and remove a 1.25" hand held shower back flow preventer and the less than 1" shower hose attached to it . This thing has a Herculean grip and with a 1 foot lever you can tighten as much as you want. But beyond that, I felt like I could still fine-tune how tight I wanted the bindings to be, so as not to be afraid of over-tightening. And best of all: My chrome has no traces! The construction of the tool is rock solid: a solid aluminum shaft with a steel pin for attaching a…
