My 8 year old LOVES it!

My 8 year old son LOVES it! His stepfather helped him a little, but he got up early in the morning to work on it. Looks great on the shelf! i love it too! Last night he started asking if other ships had these 3D puzzles! This is a great fun little project that would make a great gift for an enthusiast.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Nothing here

The pieces of this 'puzzle' do not always fit into the slots for which they were made and may come loose easily detach from these slots. This makes it incredibly difficult to assemble and store. Often the tabs will bend when trying to fit the tabs into the slots, making the puzzle assembly even more difficult.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Fits

Don't waste money!

This was an awful set. Missing parts, no instructions and they don't stick together once I understand how to assemble the stand after watching YouTube videos. The packaging says a 3 year old can assemble it in about 220 hours. Maybe this is the ONLY person who can assemble it because an adult working on it 4 days in a row has NEVER been able to assemble it! I ended up throwing it away in disgust.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No weapon

Challenging puzzles

My 9 year old son has always been a huge Titanic fan and knows how to put things together from instructions. He can assemble complex and large Lego sets without outside help. At the same time, he really had difficulties with this project. That's not really a problem, but the age on it is 3+. Plus right! It should be more like 8 or 9+. However, the quality is very good and it's a really good size ship. All in all a great product, just a bit more complex than advertised.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

REALLY CHEAP QUALITY POOR INSTRUCTIONS

I spent a day assembling yesterday and the quality is basically the foam pieces that you need to assemble. The instruction is just a diagram with pictures that are difficult to understand. Some parts don't fit. The parts are numbered in ascending order on approx. 8 sheets to be cut. They are not in order which parts are appropriate for each section. Its very fragile parts are deformed at the ends during assembly. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
