Added this device to a network that already has two.

This device has been added to a network that already has two R300 WAPs. The R500 seems to be sending out a much stronger signal. To date there are no problems.

We received three (2) of these, all of which failed during setup. We only contacted Ruckus to find out that the products had previously been set up for other companies. As such, Ruckus refused to be held responsible and did not help set it up. We promptly returned the product and will now purchase it directly from Ruckus.

Reliable hotspot.

Hotspot is amazing. I've tried many and none have worked as reliably and quickly as this one. Easy to set up and very reliable. Finally done trying hotspots until they get really old.

Technology is real for network products

It works really easy and no problems. True enterprise-class devices. I use it at home and can even get a good enough signal to support video streaming when I'm on 2.4GHz on multiple driveways to my house. The downside is that firmware updates are difficult to understand. You can still do them very well, but knowing which of the weird multiple version number systems to use is confusing. I'm still not sure if I got it right. The latest firmware is only available to those with a support contract…

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Crumpled
