Type of review

I will update this if I find any issues going forward, but having said that for the price of 26$ and it including a static bracelet and 2 precision grips along with the mat even if the magnetism turns out to be less than perfect the design is still awesome. The ruler at the bottom shows imperial and metric and is super handy, all of the screw drop points are labeled, everything is more or less and some of the screw containers are magnetized although some have criticized the strength of the…

Pros
  • Great electronics service mat! it does not seem to attract dirt/dust and cleans very easily.
Cons
  • May be too stiff or rigid for some users

Great mat* - my new review

This is a great workmat that has held up to my heat gun and everything else. I tore apart my iPhone 11 and put it back together, and all the little screw slots with the numbers are great for keeping track of what screw goes with which plate/bracket. My only complaint is that the lids for the parts are extremely flimsy and one actually came off by accident because of how thin the hinge is, but asides from that, this is perfect for anyone who is huge into DIY repair

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • May melt under extreme heat

Great for on Electronics and Jumper Wires

This was a Rather useful Matt, perfect for my usage. I like to make changes and fixes to both my Arcade 1up Machine and also my Arcade stick. The set of photos taken are from a fix I had to make to a Spliced Cable in order to make it long enough to reach the encoder board on my Arcade 1up. The buttons used are Happ Competition buttons with Cherry switches. This Matt was fantastic in helping me organize my project. Magnetic sections for holding my screws, and helping keep tools from rolling or…

Pros
  • i really enjoyed using this for the couple of cell phone repair i had to do
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain adhesives

Good design layout of features.

I bought this so I can keep all my small electronic components organize in one place and not keep loosing them later when I go back to assemble it back. What I like about this product is the very nice layout design to hold all the micro parts and tools. And not only that i can use this mat for soldering safely without burning a hole through. The only thing I notice is that this product has a weird strong rubber smell to it upon taking it out of the package. I would recommend this to all…

Pros
  • Bought this for my son and he loves it.
Cons
  • May not stay in place during use

i use this mat for watchmaking instead of a bergeon mat

its nice for watchmakers because u can put tiny screws/jewels in the small squares, and the bigger parts they came out of next to them in the bigger "holding areas" to keep track of everything. then you can put more sensitive parts like springs etc up top and out of the way- until you get them safe in a parts holder. the mat is soft enough to keep from accidentally bending a pivot on a gear if you drop the movement. plus it wont scratch anything. under bright light for hours, the color is still

Pros
  • Welding & Soldering
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with large or heavy objects

Make a template for the size you want!

Make a template; I didn't and found it smaller than I'd have preferred. It's also too thin to securely hold any non-magnetic parts, like stainless steel screws. But it hasn't been marred by the soldering iron, and protects the work surface.

Pros
  • ‎Kaisi
Cons
  • May be too pricey for those on a tight budget

I don’t use this for any heat related activity

I use this mat for repairing my watches on as small parts grip nice to the silicone and don’t roll or fall. Really wish it was green as green is healthier for the eyes over long periods of time. But as far as my application goes works great

Pros
  • Soldering Stations
Cons
  • May not be easy to clean

Interesting accessory.

First time using this type of workspace. It's nice because I can hold something right down on it and solder without worrying about the surface underneath. The little organizers are cool, keeping screws and stuff contained and not rolling around. When not in use it rolls up fairly small for storage.I'm fond of taping stuff that doesn't fit in my circuit board holder to the bench while I work on them, tape doesn't stick to silicone so I do kind of miss that little trick.

Pros
  • The magnetic properties of the mat make it easier to work with tiny parts
Cons
  • May not be easily customizable for different tasks

Affordable and durable

This silicon soldering mat has been a great purchase. It holds up the heat. literally. I love the little built in magnets, metric ruler and organizer partitions. Would recommend

Pros
  • The magnetic properties of the mat keep small parts from getting lost
Cons
  • May not be slip-resistant

Great May for great price but…

After I used it for my car I had wda40 or super tech Lubricant and it made my mat curl and it’s not un curling I am going to return to see if I can get a new one or something maybe defective idk still works but almost lost all my screws Bc it curledSo I got this max for my RC car (scx24) and I love the little screw holders it’s a pretty decent size I spray wda40 on my car a lot idk if that will ruin the man but it nothing happens or the mat absorbs it then I will love it but I do gotta say one…

Pros
  • The mat protects the surface underneath from heat damage
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain types of components

Gift for those who tinker!

I bought this for my dad as a birthday gift last year, he asked for another one this year! He does every kind of tinkering there is and loves it!

Pros
  • The mat can be rolled up for easy storage and transport
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain types of circuits

Great place to hold your nuts

This thing is great! I put my nuts on it and I know where they’re at at all times. When I sit down my nuts stay right where I put them on this Mat. Call me crazy, but I think every man needs a silicone mat for his nuts.

Pros
  • The mat is versatile and can be used for a wide range of tasks
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for use with certain types of equipment

Great as a quadcopter build station

I use this as a work pad for building my quadcopters. It is perfect as far as size and function. I actually love the dividers for different sized screws, nets, etc. the tool holders to stick drivers in are only so useful but can help if your drivers aren’t too too-heavy. Great for soldering projects. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Always wanted one to fix electronic devices. Good quality
Cons
  • May be difficult to store for those with limited space

Great mat, definitely heat resistant.

Great mat, I use it for electronics soldering and it can withstand the solderer's tip heated up and doesn't deform. I have also used it as a protection for a laser engraver and the laser didn't went through.

Pros
  • The magnetic properties of the mat help keep small screws and components in place
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain types of solder

Great for electronics!

Great product, use for soldering and solder drips wipe right off the mat. Only thing I have found to be an issue is the little storage caps do not stay on, which is not a big deal as I do not often move the mat around.

Pros
  • I solder a lot at my desk. No more concern about solder balls and tiny melted pits.
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for long-term use

Works great for small projects

Works great for small projects like fixing a cell phone or modding a handheld game console. Do be careful if you are using anything sharp as it cut a little bit easier than I thought it would with a craft knife.

Pros
  • Buen producto, cumple con lo ofrecido
Cons
  • May not be large enough for certain projects

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not so heat resistant

For keeping stuff organized its really nice specially if you’re bad at keeping track of screws(like me) but. but.<<<<<< the heat resistance is bs i was working on a motherboard and I noticed the mat started warping a little so I quickly stopped ( i was using the heat gun to remove a chip at the edge of the board so some of the air was going to the mat) great product but watch where you’re pointing the heat gun.

Pros
  • ‎Silicone
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain materials, such as glass

Great mat for working on computer parts

Mat is great, tweezers were a great addition, and they actually saved my skin once or twice when I was putting my CPU in, but the static bracelet is too small for my wrist, let alone my ankle, and I am not a beefy-wristed neanderthal.

Pros
  • The heat-resistant design makes it perfect for soldering and electronics repair
Cons
  • May be too thin to provide adequate protection

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A useful tool for small electronics repair

I really liked this mat for repairing an iphone. Probably my favorite part was the segmented screw cups. I think this was a much better choice than an all magnetic base. My magnetized screwdriver easily picked up the screw whereas a magnetized base may made it more difficult to remove small screws. The silicone mat does not conduct electricity so I felt fairly confident that components wouldn't be damage by a stray static electricity spark. I recommend saving the flat box it was shipped in for…

Pros
  • The mat is resistant to chemical and oil spills, adding to its durability
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain materials, such as ceramics

It just lays there and does what it supposed to do.

It is a silicon mat, what do you want? The tweezers are sharp, don't make yourself bleed. Is you fear staticE the wrist band is much better than the ones that come with some kits.

Pros
  • The mat helps improve work efficiency and accuracy
Cons
  • May not be easily removable from work surfaces
