I hate factory decks. But lately they are almost impossible to replace. If you need to save your deck, it will make your life a lot easier. I placed my LOC on the amp so that power and ground are close together. You can then use the 3 foot RCA and keep the 17 foot cable that comes with the amp kit. No need to run a remote cable. Touch the speaker wire and it picks up the signal and turns on the relay to power the amplifier. I've used about 30 of these things. The best product on the market.

This adapter does the job and works well. At first I found some issues with the working remote wire, but ended up running the remote wire from the LOC to the amp and then to the radio fuse in the fuse box. This ensures that the amplifier only turns on with the radio. As many have said, the bass control doesn't work. I think it could be related to either the type of amp or subwoofer you have. All in all, it did the job at Stock Radio.

Great sound, no noise but instructions say to use 12v 'constant'. I would only do this on the Daily Driver. I screwed this right into my factory wiring harness. The handle only works a tiny fraction of a turn before it is full. The range is so small that I cannot adjust it while driving. I took the dash apart to see if adjusting the output controls would improve it. Using the included plastic screwdriver, the left channel felt very odd.
