Bought the smallest size. I set the clamp as wide as possible and just right for the bottom of my 30hp Suzuki 4-stroke. Looks sturdy and well made.

I bought the second one. The first broke where the fork is holding the motor. I figured I might have overused it even though it's only 30hp so I ordered another bracket and kept the first one as spares. The second broke 15 minutes later in the same place. The metal at the break looks like coarse-grained cast iron.

I purchased an item for a 1977 Crestliner that has a 155hp Evinrude engine. I was very unsure how this product could handle the weight of a bouncing motor while driving some of these Colorado roads. To my surprise, it's holding up pretty well. I drove to the lake which took almost 2 hours one way and held up very well. Wouldn't buy again. Nothing good to say about the product. The clamps that hold the motor are too narrow (1 inch) to fit most motor shafts and cannot be reversed or modified in their design. I tried to use this on my 20hp Mercedes. the angle of the support rod due to the design. Usually the lower area next to the support. that you can't rock with a solid base.
