Worked on trucks, vans, SUVs.

I used it for steering and front suspension. Worked great on my Dodge, my wife's Honda. It worked just as well on my Toyota and Hyundai boys. This kit is amazing, very good quality, great price and the case is very solid. Definitely recommended for do-it-yourselfers.

Recommend a parts list if needed but great customer service.

Bipod extraction screw removed on first use. I wish they had a parts list. The installation was good and there were enough spare parts to allow all front work. Edit: 4/23/20 Very quick response from customer service after letting them know I had a problem. Excellent customer service fixed my problem.

  • Solid construction

Great product for this money.

I bought this set because I need it for a job and I was like what the heck should I get this set and I will have it. Well since it arrived I have found that there are many other projects that this kit has come in handy for and it has worked great. Nothing broken so far, used a few times. I saved more money by being able to work on these projects myself than the kit cost, that's for sure. Many Thanks

  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Big and bulky

An excellent set, different pullers help in difficult places

An excellent set. I had a very stubborn brake on a 2002 Nissan Xterra. The conventional U-puller did not separate the link from the bipod; the puller just slipped off. The tapered rod in this set was pressed out 60%, then the scissor press did the job. This kit paid for itself in a one time use and is less expensive than those available locally from HFT.

  • The best

  • A few little things

Didn't survive a pass

Puller Puller with arm removed trying to remove the very first tractor arm he ever tried. The bolt tip on the long/tall cheek block broke almost immediately when he tried to use it. The only thing that worked was the ball joint splitter, but it's not big enough for the SUV's ball joints and will ruin the trunk as badly as a cucumber fork. Save money for a while and buy better tools or keep renting them from your local auto parts store. I decided to get my own because it's so annoying to go into

  • Great price

So far so good, best tool for ball joints and tie rods

I chose this tool to save a few hundred dollars removing and installing tie rods on my Jeep. This kit helped me remove some very stubborn tie rods for a reasonable price. The only one I struggled with was on the pitman's arm due to location. After tightening it a little more than was comfortable for me, I hit it several times with a hammer. It happened with a pretty big bang. Afterwards, when I wiped the tools down and put them back in their case, I noticed that the paint had peeled off theโ€ฆ

I would not recommend this remedy.

Bought to overhaul the steering box on the S10 2000 version. For this work I needed small and large manipulator pullers. My truck is rear wheel drive so it uses a fixed stick. The bipod arm cost almost as much as a rebuilt steering box, so cutting it off to remove the stuck arm was impossible. especially since both the mechanism and the lever are only about 5 years old. This truck is in a garage and will not be driven in winter. For light work, the small puller worked well. Big. not as much. Iโ€ฆ
