When I first received these towels I was concerned that they were not very thick. However, after using them, I liked them. They are well done. They are very absorbent. You don't shed. The cranberry color was perfect for Christmas. In fact, I couldn't wrap her in Christmas stuff because I loved her too much. I will use it all winter. In fact, I can buy them in other colors. I find the thickness perfect. I highly recommend you!

I bought two sets, one in cranberry red and one in charcoal grey. They should replace the Threshold brand towels we've had for years, but there's no comparison. Towels and washcloths had threads hanging from them that shed a large amount of lint the first time they were washed. Received them yesterday and they weren't impressed with the packaging - they weren't at all what I would describe as soft or plush, and the color it was not as rich as shown on the product image. I immediately noticed that the washcloth is not the same terry cloth as the rest of the items but is much thinner and the hand towel is also slightly thinner and less linting than the bath towel.
