Great upgrade (Civic LX 07)

This is a great upgrade to previously available blanks. The old body blanks were 1) no more durable than the original Hondas (perhaps less durable), and 2) they still required the dealer or a specialized locksmith to fabricate the blank. I used them to replace the original key fob and the key fob case that I replaced previously. The one it replaced earlier had a slightly different design at the end of the metal blank. Instead of a crooked "T" at the top, it was just a straight bar with a…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

This is the one to buy if you want to keep your existing key.

Perfect for the button assembly I have. I didn't want to cut the new blade because the original body was cracked. so much so that the key blade could easily be lost and work was required to start the car. I took the Honda logo from the original and it was like new. almost like the original, except that there is a small piece of plastic on the blade. The second label from the original with the part number is also missing on this one. So it's a noticeable difference when you compare them side by…

From 450 to 14 dollars!

My husband called the Honda dealer to find out how much it would cost to replace a broken key fob. One broke a long time ago and we never used it again. The other one just broke and part of the key fell out. It was difficult to open the doors and start the car. We had to do something about it! I'm not the type to spend hundreds of dollars knowing there has to be a more affordable solution. I connected to Revain, looked at the keychains and here they are! I purchased this item for just over $9…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I bought a 2007 Honda Pilot to replace a broken key. When swapping the insides from old to new, the key fob didn't snap into place - there was a gap on one side or the other (you can see that in the photo in another post - I had it too). I followed the advice of other posts and made sure everything was lined up correctly, but it still didn't close completely. Also, the key slides through the black sleeve, which gets progressively narrower as you go up (it doesn't matter how you insert the key),

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Unfashionable
