We installed it and when we first went camping it broke right at the seam. We're in a total mess. He made a fork out of a tent peg, anything that was in the mountains. I'm not sure if this is a bug or just poorly done. I will not buy again for such an outrageous price.

After installing the ShurFlow, I poured a glass of water but was interrupted and left it on the counter. When I came back a few hours later I found the foil on top so I poured another glass and left it overnight and of course another layer of foam. I contacted ShurFlo customer service and they were no help - they had no solution.

What should have been a simple connection under our van's sink took many hours. The kit contained very cheap plastic connectors that broke off on one end of the filter and had to be sought out. The filter leaks on sent connections even though we used the provided thread wrapper. We ended up spending $18 on metal connectors because it was the only way to prevent leakage. If we had known from the start we would never have bought it.
