The best knitwear cleaner a mile away

This is one of those items that costs a little more but is worth every penny. The no-rinse function saves time, stress and water. I used to hand wash the sweater, pour the soapy water out of the basin, fill it with clean water, let the sweater sit for 5-10 minutes to remove the detergent, then rinse and repeat (literally) 3-4 times, until the soap was completely washed out of a sweater. I use it in the washing machine. A bit pricey but worth it!

We have a huge amount of wool and delicate fabrics at home. My husband is a little more wary of machine washing, but I machine wash many of my sweaters and other delicates, as well as wool and delicates for my kids, with an unscented soaking agent. I still clean a lot of things (like nicer knits/wools, formal wear, etc) but I find this method works well for me.
