Just like the originals.

I used these straps to secure a '95 F-150 fuel tank between the rear frame rails of a 2006 CV LX Sport that I placed under a '77 F-100. I built the frame between the rails in the same configuration as the F-150 and then used straps to hold the tank in place.

Cons
  • Hard to tell

The fit was perfect. A combination of coating and paint can help.

They look pretty much the same as the originals except as far as I can tell they aren't painted. The original parts were covered in paint but still rusty. It has some kind of coating, but it's probably just zinc, not turning. I laid two coats of Rustoleum on top and glued new rub strips on the tops. The fit was perfect. The combination of coating and color can help it survive our harsh winters.

Great replacement for rusted originals.

Excellent replacement belts. I used these tank straps when replacing a leaking fuel tank on my 92 f150. The originals were as rusty as the tank and needed to be sanded down with an angle grinder. The straps are just as thick as the originals. The ends are reinforced and fit snugly in the spare fuel tank. The only difference to the ones I picked up is the substrate. The old straps had some plastic and glue between them and the tank. All in all, these straps are a very good replacement.
