Description of 🔧 Starrett 93A T-Handle Tap Wrench: Premium Quality and Efficient Tapping Tool

HOLDS SMALLER TOOLS: Starrett 93 series T-handle tap wrench is for holding taps, drills, reamers, and other small tools to be turned by hand. It is properly heat treated to withstand ordinary shop use. CENTERED BODY: The body is centered, enabling the worker to use it on lathe centers or on an upright drilling machine to start the tap straight. RIGID HOLD: The T handle’s jaws conform to the tool that’s being held, making it extra rigid and less apt to loosen its tight grip. SLIDING HANDLE: Tap wrench has a sliding handle that is frictionally held, and it can be removed entirely or positioned so that leverage can be applied when working in close quarters. FOR SQUARE SHANKS: It’s designed to hold square shanks. Round shanks can also be gripped, but extra care must be used. Excessive tightening may break the binding nut.

I spent a few days on a project where the final step was to drill and cut 4 holes each 4mm x 0.7. I was using a cheap Chinese Irwin 4mm faucet from Home Depot when it broke on a project. This happened during recording with an already broken Irwin crane attack that was barely used. I know Starrett because my grandfather was a tool and mold maker. My father passed it on to me. They are 80 years old and look and function exactly as they did the day Starrett shipped them. Needless to say, the…

Beautiful but fatally flawed. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

I am a huge Starrett fan but I am very disappointed in this product. Note - I returned it. First off it's heavy and beautiful and I was so lucky to own it. until I looked. The quality of the thread finish is very poor, making it difficult to tighten and very rough to machine. More importantly, it just doesn't hold the faucet properly. I used a 1/2" tap and the way the cams were cut just didn't allow enough engagement on the stem to get a stable in-line connection. former water polo player is…

It's the faucet handle that everyone else is trying to copy

Unlike hardware store faucet handles, these handles will hold your faucets in place without slipping. Do yourself a favor, ditch your old ones and get one of these. They are very well made and just work. I started by buying a 93A. This pen exceeded all of my expectations. As I was going through my faucet supplies, I saw that in this rage I don't have a faucet handle. So I got this 93B. Over time I will add 93C to the collection. These pens are so good. The beauty of the 93 series pens is the…
